The water just broke, wait for it to open more. Gather supplies, hot water, towel(s), knife/scissor, candle or boiling water/alcohol, get a clamp. and sterilize everything Get yourself a face mask or towel to cover yourself because shit's coming your way Push lightly on stomach to aid, support the head and not the neck when baby comes out It's not a straight pull, try to wiggle the baby out. depends on which shoulder comes out first When placenta is out, get that clamp/rope and cut Tap the baby's bottom to ensure breathing. Wash and wrap with towel before placing on mother's chest and stabilize baby's breathing
Just put Mary on a bathtub with lukewarm water (Because it's said to be one of the best ways to have a natural delivery), hold her hand and yell push........ though I don't know what to do with that umbilical cord nor the placenta, do I just yank it all from her?
1. yes. 2. a lot. I was an EMT before going back to school 3. depends on if the intestines were intact or not. if intact then they have some chance, if it was damaged then they'll die slowly. all you can do is make them as comfortable as possible. of course, if we had someone with healing magic it would be a piece of cake. 4. if they were dying anyway then why not? 5% is better than nothing
Delivering a baby: aint no way i'm prepared in any way possible. But i'll still try do it.. or at least give other people some tips if possible.. Medical knowledge: clean the injury, apply pressure on bleeding or concussioned parts, apply bandage. And let natural regeneration take care of the rest? Taking care of someone with a severe bleeding: laying them down in a leveled place, clean the wound, bandage it up and hope there's no internal bleeding(cause i dont know how to handle those). Surgery in another world: . . . If they had to rely on my shody knowledge of surgery, then they have no other choice if they want to live... if the cause is something i know, i'll try... if i dont know what the heck is the problem, then no.
Yes! I have full confidence in delivering a dead baby or better. (Hey the question asked if I could deliver not if I could do it well)
There's a reason most babies died before modern medicine. Just knowing the gist of it isn't gonna help much
I would just need a taxi backseat and traffic jam ... and the magic will do the rest ... worked in every film ...
1. Could you deliver a baby if it came down to it? I mean maybe? I know how it works basically as well as the the things I'd need, that is if it's not the kind in which you open the stomachhhh 2. How much first aid do you know? Do you know any other medical knowledge? I have a pretty good understanding of first aid, but my medical knowledge is limited only to strange facts I've learned, observations I've made, and my understanding of the human anatomy 3. If someone had a gash in their abdomen and they were bleeding in the wilderness, but you are in an isekai world with no 911, what would you do? Clean the wound, apply pressure to the wound so the person doesn't lose too much blood, and if I have a needle and thread on hand, warm up the needle and stitch the wound up then wrap the injury with cloth and have them stay still for a while until the wound heals, during that time I'd maybe attempt to move them but if that fails I'd probably try to find a nearby village to get food or somethinggg 4. Would you have the guts to attempt surgery on someone in an isekai world? What if the success rate is only 5%? nope~ if I don't know what I'm doing then I don't know what I'm doing and I don't want to be the reason that some dies so I would prefer that none have any faith in me whatsoever, if I was like the last resort, like legitimately everyone has tried and failed or I'm the last ditch attempt before the person the person croaks then maybe I do it. However I do not have the guts necessary to do that usually~
