Discussion Cats or Dogs? I can't decide!!

Good evening to all online NU users!! I'm saying good evening because it's 10:45 from where I am right now. Anyways, just like what the title says, we'll be talking about which animal you would prefer. Cats or Dogs? Who's a cat person? Hands up! Who's a dog lover? Hands up!

So, last week, during our free time in class, we were having this random conversation about cats and dogs until it lead to a debate why cats are better than dogs or why dogs are better than cats. I was the only one who didn't join because I couldn't decide. I mean, if I say cats, the dog lovers in our class would aggressively state their point of how dogs are better and the cat people would do the same if I say dogs.

So, in the end, I joined the neutral party. During my childhood, I had 3 dogs and 3 cats. 2 of my dogs live with my grandmother and the other one died because he was old. One of my cats got bitten by a dog and the other one got run over. The last one ran away after two weeks. Yes! I'm very disappointed at myself now that I look at my past records with cats and dogs. I'm good with animals but I'm particularly unlucky when it comes to these cuties. Nonetheless, I still desire to have a cat or a dog.

When it comes to the question, cats or dogs? I'm seriously indecisive. So God help me. Anyways, I'm posting this because I want to ask which you would prefer. Cats or Dogs? Comment down below. And also, please like.

I prefer cat cuz I have trauma of big doggo ~

 

When I was a child, I got bitten by a dog. I thought I would hate dogs after that but I eventually moved on.

 

I like both tbh.
But I cant have neither because my condo doesnt allow pets.

I like cats and big dogs.
any dog that is smaller than my cat is no good; I can't stand yippy dogs.
if I absolutely had to choose one or the other it would be cats.

 

I prefer cats since they are lower matinence but I like dogs that arent mine a lot since they are friendly and fluffy, but so are cats.

 

Cats all the way, love dogs but cats are just so soft and cuddly.

 

I like both, until I noticed someone i seriously dislike likes dogs, then I stick to cats. Still like dogs though.

I like both cats and dogs. But I find cats a bit too arrogant and dogs more loyal. So cats are like the school belle, like from a distance and the dogs are like the cute girl with freckles that you have a chance with.

 

PFFFFT! See! This is the problem. You think there has to be a choice. You don't know that DOGS ARE LOVABLE PLAYFUL FUN FUN FUN and Cats are cute fluffable cuddle bugs. But I have ASCENDED! Whenever you try to puzzle out an answer to this ultimate question, your brain be like dis

I have an ultimate plan that renders any arguments as to which is better null! FOR YOU SEE! First, I shall adopt ALL the cute little Kitty's and Puppies! THEN! I shall feed them meaty treats and play with them, raising my affinity with them to OVER 9000! And FINALLY! I SHALL PUT THEM ALL ON MY BED AND HAVE A LEGENDARY CUDDLE PUDDLE! FILLED WITH CUTE LITTLE KITTEN PAWS AND PUPPY KISSES!

 

Cats or dogs, all good provided that you take care of them for real. Not a fad, not something to fill time, not because they are cute enough you want one. They are a responsibility. A living creature who depended on you.

 

Honestly I also really enjoy both, but if I were to have a pet I want to be a responsible person with thumbs; so that makes it hard to own a dog while living by myself since that means being stuck in my apartment while I'm at work which is pretty mean. While I also can't go for a cat which handles being by themselves really well since I'm unfortunately allergic.

 

I personally prefer dogs but I do like cats too.

I've always had dogs in the past and I love dogs, but I'd probably prefer a cat now because cats are lower maintenance.

Now, if I enough land and time to care for them, I'd get several cats and dogs.
