Basically all the Korean translations in my Reading list have stopped releasing new chapters. Only one is a Wuxiaworld translation, and I'm kind of familiar with what's been happening there. Is it the same for all the others, though? Are Korean publishers cracking down on all third-party translations?

All the novels have a lot more raw releases than translations, heck, some are done, I think, so unless the translators are mostly Korean... Are most English translators Korean?

As for the holidays, these novels stopped releasing new chapters back in September/October.

From the few Korean novels I follow, I assumed that the translators were Korean since they stated that they would be joining the army for 2 years, otherwise they probably have RL stuff going on

Most likely korean or perhaps maybe singaporean (though a very small chance). There are few non-african countries that have two years mandatory military service.

It then begs the question: Why are most KR>EN TLs english speaking korean natives?

Probably because they wanted to get better at their English so they started translating at least that’s what I would think
