I need any advice or suggestion from someone with experience running or being part of a team. Someone said scanlation is easier if you easily get raws as you have fewer text compared to novels. Is this true?
In my opinion if you split the jobs yes. Or else this is rather troublesome for a single person to clean, redraw, translate, typeset, put it online on various website. Also, manhua may have less pages than a manga so it may be easier.
I can redraw wujigege o.o if you need help!! I do have experience, i worked on lookism as a try out before for it
I am planning to focus on digital comics. Does that not make it easier? I did a miser so I rather save costs. I don't use volunteers. It's beneath me to use volunteers. I have class
It's easier as in easier to find readers for, but most readers will likely just read from an aggregator. Also, trying to figure out what kanji those 5 pixels in the corner represent is a nightmare.
Sad but true. I am considering Chinese BL comics and comics for novels I already translate. That way, I can take advantage of my current reader base
Im happy to take payment lmao Depends on the digital, some of them are sold without writings as well, so thats a perk, but some are always with writings on top of drawings, meaning there is a need for redrawer
