Depends on the people around you at the time of you saying so and how good they know you. I know someone that got racist undertones in 60% of their jokes (the rest is dark humor). he can't even make a joke in public, since there will always be that person taking everything litiraly. He have been trown out of dinning places for joking with his friends while eating there.
