Absolute Choice Ratman (manga) Hero Union BBS Combatants will be Dispatched Running Away From The Hero (remake)
"Super Powereds" by Drew Hayes is a really long and plot-driven Super Hero series consisting of four years and a couple of spin-off books. Before he redid his website, you could find all books in his blog as it is a webnovel. He's since removed all but the last year, linking to the Amazon e-books for everything. Still, they are quite long, and reasonably priced for the length. Another series I liked was "Wearing the Cape" by Marion Harmon. Again, decently priced e-books for the length, but not as long as Drew Hayes'. Still, the plot is quite good. The later couple of books have started taking some odd turns, but are still believable once you've finished them and I'm rather curious to see where he takes the next one.
Most of these already made into anime, so you probably have heard them: Novels: - Youjo Senki (e(vil)) - Overlord (e) Mangas: - One Punch Man (h(ero)) - Boku Hero Academy (h) - Baito-saki wa "Aku no Soshiki"!? - Hellsing Webcomic (no anime/cartoon): - PS238 (updated at least once a month) - Grrl Power (updated twice a week)
Lots of worm, My Hero academy fanfictions and cross overs out there. https://www.fanfiction.net/book/Worm/
Not dropped so much as put on hiatus indefinitely. It's still a great read up until that point though.
Henchman - MC is the child of a high ranked Super of one of the 3 major Super Paths, with the passive power to keep technology nearby together and running. Then the ship he's employed as a Henchman on crashes due to an attack, and, after getting into an ejection pod and a protective suit, he's injected with the nanobots that give people superpowers just before crashing onto a deserted island. The story starts there. The Oscillation - Link goes to the writer's "fictions" page on RRL due to there being two versions, one with swearing and a (Clean) one, without swearing. One day the world starts transforming people, giving them powers, making them imitations of stories, myths and legends. Not everyone, but a fair amount of people, seemingly at random. The MC herself turns into a Moon Rabbit, and, like seemingly everyone transformed, gained a bunch of powers related to that. This story goes through the changes of the world, as seen by following the MC. The Vespidian - Prestory, the MC of this dropped out of Economics at University due to disagreeing with her professor's stated views on Economics and getting bad grades for it. She became a basement dwelling shut-in for a couple of years. The story starts when she decides she wants to leave the basement for the first time in two years, and goes for a run. Due to this decision, followed by some remarkably BAD choices, the MC ends up following a plane crash and seeing a puddle of glowing green goop. She understandably decides NOT to touch it, and leave, until an explosion scares her into jumping for the ground... right on top of the glowing green goop. Remarkably, the MC survived, but is now a giant bug lady in a city half-policed by Supers, some of whom think that the radiated-animal-bite victims who turned into half-animal people should be put down. This is a dark story, don't read it for sunshine and rainbows. The some of the worst that Modern Age Online provided is comparable to some of the brightest parts of The Vespidian, when taken as a whole.
