It’s already been mentioned in the translated chapters that the church has some magic paternity test thing. It was just made inadmissible/banned or something after a loophole happened where it couldn’t determine which identical twin was the babbydaddy (which I think would trip up modern tests too). Haven’t read ahead, but I assume Stupidshoe did it in secret or overturned the ban after Navier got pregnant. After all, if she isn’t barren then why did they never have a baby? I believe someone else has said the the baby’s not his.
It's mentioned in this thread that when they were kids, Navier and Sovieshu ate cookies that was supposed for a king's concubine. They were laced with infertility drugs by his mother. Thus, he thought that she's infertile.
Technically they’re both infertile. Navier got lucky since she and Heinley screwed on a magic bed to help guarantee offspring. Stupidshoe not so much. What I wonder is what the hell happens to the country Stupidshoe is in charge of? I mean it’s sad.
Yeah, meant for that to be snarkier. My eye rolling emoji didn't go through. Implying that it suddenly occurred to him that HE may be the problem.
Can someone explain Duke Elgi's character and motivation to me? I kinda get it that he got close to Rashta to manipulate her so that she would be the Empress and Navier would be Heinley's Queen. But can you tell me what his end goal is? And does Rashta ever found out about his manipulation?
He’s kind of Heinley’s accomplice to ruin Eastern Empire. A few times Duke Elgy deliberately gave Trashta false advices, like wore a glamorous dress to Navier & Stupid Shu divorce hearing; mislead her to the “wrong path” by lent much money to shut her former slave master; etc. Look at the big picture, I think he played a crucial part of Eastern Empire chaos *dont know the ending yet, maybe the East has fallen or maybe not. But at one time, he helped Navier and Heinley to escape from Stupid Shu’s post-divorce disorientation, to Western Empire. Duke Elgy himself wasn’t so sure to help them escape at first tho.
i read english translation one night and felt like stabbing a b*tch for whole 2 days afterward(doesnt matter who). Its just painfully slow... I swear to god i tried to understand that shoe, and just when i almost sympathize with him he just punches me in the guts. The fact that rashtrash is nowhere near good villain yet... im .....im ......im.........gaahhh ♂️♂️♂️♂️
ever since I read the part where Kapman took the love potion, I get the feeling that somehow trashta lovepotioned stupidshoe and the effects are starting to wear off. He always seemed a little off at the beginning... I mean come on, early trashta was a terrible manipulator
Don't believe so? I think? These are vague spoilers from a blog yes. Spoiler: Chap 114 spoilers Okay so, remember when Trashta plucked out those feathers from the blue bird that Stupidshoe tried to give to Navier? Yeah a maid found the feathers in a pillow, and i think Trashta tried to pin it on the maid. Because Trashta ordered the maid's tongue to be cut off and then imprisoned. Unfortunately for her, stupidshoe isn't the stupidest shoe, so he decides to judge it via how the bird reacts to the maid vs trashta. Good luck Trashta, you crazy dumb bitch. Cut to Heinley inviting Soveishu over for a dinner, just to thank him for divorcing Navier so he could get married to her. Soveishu retorts Heinley is two-faced, and once he reveals it to Navier, she will return to him. Stupidshoe then reveals he knows duke of Ergi is a plant. Heinley is surprised. Chapter end. - I mean we already know Navier is not returning, so i think Navier is A. Knows this, thinks it's Stupidshoe's fault anyway. B. Angrier at Stupidshoe than she could/ will be at Heinley. I hope Heinley and Navier have a heart to heart. - Extra spoils about a new lady in waiting that has been mentioned in the korean chapters but not explained here, because I love her almost as much as I love Laura: Her name seems to be Mastera and she became Navier's lady in waiting because she likes her brother lol. She lacks tact and was/ is a knight. Rose, the other lady in waiting was worried Mastera might stab someone with a spear at a party if an argument occurred, since she apparently? Continues to carry around a spear. Even Heinley was worried because she was one of his knights, and he knows she's not very... lady in waiting-ish. Navier thought about dismissing her, but in the end, kind of likes her and feels bad to dismiss her. In the end, I love Mastera.
