I remember MTL’ing a male lead quick transmigration novel which in one of the later arcs, MC transmigrates into an ancient world where the stepmom spoils him in order to make him useless. He does stuff like donating the stepmom’s money for a good cause in order to aggravate her, but she can’t do anything or her facade would crumble. There is a FL, and she and her brother are neglected by their family. At one point, ML builds a water park, and secretly uses those funds to stage a rebellion. During the rebellion, the stepmom plans on handing over ML’s father to the rebels, because she thought that the rebels would want him dead, not knowing ML led the rebellion.
Quick transmigration is a subcategory of transmigration novels where in each arc, the MC goes to a different world. Usually, they inhabit a character of that world's "story" and change the outcome of their fates.
