I just checked, there are two versions (probably related) of the movie, there is a 'Moteki (2010)' and a 'Moteki (2011)', the summary isn't bad, maybe I will watch them sometime
Watch the TV show first It uses a similar format to Many Faces of Itoh and Kakugo Watch the TV Show first or you will get spoilers
Raijuus don't play games. They will shock you dead! Why is grammarly flagging 'they' in this comment as grammatically wrong?
His skin is clear, his hairstyle is cute, his facial structure is manly, his lips are my type and also not dry. Glasses are outdated, but it's just glasses. His figure is slim and attractive. Looks-wise, he's got it going. He has a job. I guess that part about having no dreams/ambitions is what turns women off. Makes me wonder about those women's motives. The only one I can realistically picture liking him (and his character), is the tough girl. The rest will end up leaving/cheating on him out of boredom within 5 years. I'm a bit curious to know which one he ends up with, but not enough to actually watch xD;.
It is worth it. I recommend the TV show The movie I enjoyed because of Aso Kumiko and Nagasawa Masami because of her legs Uee used to be famous for her honey thighs before her weight issues What a shame The story is written by the same author who wrote Yuri on Ice She was advised by her editor to use a male pseudonym to write it I think the story is well written
Well-written or what, I'm not going to dispute it without watching. It's just that the whole concept is boring to me. Even if it was an otaku girl and 4 dudes wooing her, I'd watch it more out of obligation (and probably skip straight to the end to get it over with). Slice of life and modern settings in general can't make me watch. And this one has too many women and too few cute guys to even make me watch for the eye candy. It won't be a problem for most female watchers, but I'm just really picky cause I don't have a lot of free time. I'd rather read a BL novel instead. PS. The picture looks photoshopped, but still, the legs have a good shape. I dunno what else to say about them, it's not my thing lol.
Hahaha I grew up in a very conservative household was forced to close my eyes during kissing scenes All I could look at was belly button in Indian movies and legs. I was conditioned that way About Moteki, I dont watch Modern dramas either, I prefer Japanese dramas because of average male leads Also, I should correct one thing, none of the women are interested in him. I enjoy the story because in a standard drama, the women would be the villainesses or the bitchy second female lead It was a breath of fresh air A male writer cannot write such a story It isn't everyone's cup of tea to be fair but I enjoyed it. It even has time travel
Time travel? *a bit intrigued* Why don't they like him though, the trailer made it seem they were chasing him and he was in his popularity phase, hence the title.
Like I said, the women aren't angels. This is my favorite line from it : " I didn't know Yukio will have any girls next to him so I wasn't worried" Essentially she treated him as her back up " I will make you fall in love with me no matter what as revenge" That's from another girl. The time travel part is hilarious, he used to be fat so he went back in time to meet his fat self. One of the women had zero interest in him. The story is misleading. He is not popular. It is a lot more thought provoking than it appears. It's contradictory. The women are both shallow and thoughtful at the same time. Basically, real humans. Not the perfect angels we usually see in dramas. Oh well, I think I talked too much. Episodes are less than 30 minutes each. It won't take too long for you to decide if it's your cup of tea. I think the story works because the author is female pretending to be male. The female characters are believable and three dimensional compared to the usual fare. Over and out. Cheers!
