    Tbh i dont read web novels for its quality, just for stress relief, so i dont have to think too hard

    I dont think light novels are bad. Most are supposed to be funny. Yes the Male MCs are dense and stupid mostly but that is humor. If you are not a good fan of light humor and japanese culture, then LN isn't for you.

    Its just oversaturated and repetitive, I understand that Its take reality to understand fiction.
    I feel you are generalizing, and at same time mocking everyone here who read webnovel and light novel for fun

    Personally I feel attacked

    You should try Slayers, or Vampire Hunter D. They aren't like the ones you are talking about. And if you hate light-novels so much, than why are you even here? There are a lots of light-novels and webnovels, there a lots of kinds of them from wuxia to horror and sci-fi. I read some light novels and webnovels too.There are some I enjoyed (for example Mo Dao Zu Shi, Violet Evergarden, Kyou Kara Maou) and I didn't like some of them.
    And novels aren't about the real world. They are made up with the author's fantasy. If I wanted to read about the real world, I would read an encyclopedia, not a novel!
