    1. Generally, it's translated weekly. This is usually due to low translator count for KR. (unless it's WW, they release their stuff quite fast)
    2. High chance of authors disappearing due to military service.
    3. Low amount of choice due to KR really making sure no one can translate their works with copyrights and so on. Lots of my old favourite KR novels died because of this. :blob_teary:
    4. Scroll down a few pages and you'll probably only see on average 3 KR novels per page.

All in all, it sure is hard to enjoy Korean novels. Atleast the manhwa side of things are usually fine. Especially Solo Levelling. That one is my only KR read atm.

The curse of Korean novels to me seems to be rushed/bad endings, or plagued with misunderstandings.

Its like how Chinese novels have the word count/face smacking/ young master every 5 feet curses.

I for one feel like since Korean novels may not be as popular therefore not as profitable many translators don't pick them up to translate.
May also have to do with more chapters equal more translators can get paid, just my personal opinion so :blobnobully::blobnobully::blobnobully:

I already finished I Alone Level Up, as I'm waiting for revisions to catch up with the latest translated arc in Second Coming of Gluttony.

Also, why do lots of original manwha have tons of sex and netorare, except for novel adapted manwha, which sell for action and urban fantasy? As for manhua, they're the most inconsistent adaptations I've fuck'en read in a lifetime. One artist to another, like what the fuck? Of course, manwha also suffer from this poor management, but it seems to be the main gig for manhua. As for manga, it's either axed or alternative stories.

I also really want to know the reason behind the mass production of sex and NTR manhwa

    Is that a thing there?

It's not a real manhua if the art doesn't change at least 2 or 3 times. I've been baited into manhua where the art is great in the beginning but it does a 180 and turns into ass.

Sometimes I blame myself. Just when I started to read a novel and caught up, the TLs just suddenly disappear the same week, or there will be a publisher takeover or whatnot.

It really can't be helped that there's mandatory military service since the war here is basically not over yet.......
It is quite a shame though.
Then again, going to the military can't really be seen as a reason to completely stop translating as they have computers there that can be used to do so. With a bit of external help it is possible to continue translating while in service. Lack of motivation I'd say.

Have you ever been in military service? Finding time to translate in normal RL is already hard, not to mention a live where:

    1. Your whole day is scheduled, checked, monitored and judged.
    2. Access to device (phone, pc, laptop, tablet) is limited
    3. Internet service is luxury. You need to limit communication to outside to prevent some things in the base leaked out.
    4. You are encouraged/pushed/suggested to bond with each other.

All in all, not a good situation to do translation

I am currently in military service which is actually why I am saying so. I have actually tried translating too (although I had to stop in the middle of it due to legal issues......).
I certainly can't speak for the entire Korean military but the facilities and internet services have become quite good these days.
It's not the best conditions to translate in but it's not impossible.

Well chamber seems said something different about access to PC and when my cousin did his service (though not in Korea) he basically tired all the time for the first few months that he choose sleep rather than reading books (and he is an avid reader).

Maybe different people have different situation then
