Recommendations Cultivation Novel where the MC rejects the cliche "Law of the Jungle" setting?

I'm looking for a Cultivation novel/setting, where the MC takes a look at the typical "Law of the Jungle" setting (Strong eat the Weak, shameless stealing, "You don't like my robe color?! YOU HAVE DISHONORED ME! PREPARE TO DIE!!!" Etc etc etc) and says "Yaaaa, no, screw that jazz" and tries to make/do something different.

The only ones that I've found so far are these ones, but its not being worked on anymore.

NOTES:
1): Decent Length (30+chapters or 2-3 Volumes, depending on chapter length), and/OR being actively translated (Has been updated in the last 1 - 2 months). I.E. I don't want something with 10-15 chapters that's not been updated since August 2016, but something with 5-10 chapters that's been update Mid Oct/Nov(or even the start) is perfectly fine.
2): No Hentai/Smut. Adult themes/Scenes are fine, but no blatant smut (I.E. a bedroom scene just for the sake of smut).
3): Harem tag is fine, but No Polygamy.

 

Basically the entire premise of "My Disciple Died Yet Again." It's comedy but heavily explores this concept later in the story.

Kind of Ya! At least her general World View and mindset fits.
She still embraces a lot of the Cultivator Culture, but she never lets it Corrupt her, and always tries to keep her moral compass straight.

Being a general AH kinda goes hand in hand with the Cultivator "Culture".

Interesting concept, but hardly can be blended into a novel

For starter, I recommend searching novel with MC that transmigrated from Earth

They usually still have a moral compass compared to reincarnated MC that just doing everything they see fit to their goal

 

Haven't read them, but I'm thinking it's likely going to go two ways. MC specifically trying to change the world or MC being a generally decent guy who doesn't tend to bother people unless they bother him. Unless they're trash. Thus he's still in the law of the jungle but he's above it. I know a few of the second one. Like MW for example.

I don't think so. You don't have much of a story without a villain and spending time making a proper villain is hard.

Most decent stories would use like 1 villain per arc. The MC stumbled upon something and disrupt the villains' plan and it goes from there for 100+ chaps before the villain is ultimately defeated and the MC obtain new powers and you go to another arc.

Bad stories throw random fodder at the MC because they can't make expensive villains. Just generate some random mob and an excuse to be a jerk so the MC can crush them without making the MC looking evil and stupid.

You can try "Lord of The Mystery". It's magic instead of cultivation but it looks exactly like cultivation. You power up by training, gather resources for break through into another rank, obtain new powers and aim to be god-like. Each cultivation path would give different powers...etc.

TMW main character is a person transmigrated from Earth

 

Their personalities are pretty similar. Just with YY being more humorous and LM being more serious.

 

Interesting, though how does it fit? just going by the Descriptions on the pages, they both just seem like more of the same.

 

If you don't mind a more western author take on cultivation, give these 2 a try. I haven't personally read them yet, but their both on my to-read list. But are incomplete, but being regularly updated and are of a decent length already. You're most likely not going to get the usual cliches you see time and time again in more cultivation novels written by Chinese authors (senseless/nonstop face slapping, murdering entire families/clans for slight grievances, etc.).

The author has completed 1 story (The Iron Teeth: A Goblin's Tale) so far that's been really well received by the readers.
Forge of Destiny (https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21188/forge-of-destiny): Can't tell you much about this, besides the fact that it was adapted from a quest on SufficientVelocity and that it has a really high rating.
