umm I’m pretty sure the whole novel is about the strong eating the weak, the summary even talks about the law of the jungle

Tensei basically the mostly light hearted and funny reincarnation stories (Japanese) guy gets summoned/ transported/ reincarnated into a magic or survival of the fittest world but more times then not either goes completely against standards to do his own thing or just too op to care just search for the world tensei you'll find 100s of such novels

Like I said it's a case of the MC being generally decent and not taking advantage of people unless they're trash or attack him first. The world itself is still law of the jungle.

I wonder how a non law of the jungle cultivation world would even function. One super powerful organization keeping everyone in line and then a bunch of tournaments and non deadly fights determining who gets resources? That's basically just another form of the strong eating the weak.

 

My Master Disconnected Yet Again is by the same author of disciple. It’s in the same... universe too somewhat. More of the cultivation and lighthearted. Tbh, the Mc is too lazy to be evil like other MCs. It’s also a “strong from the start” novel.

It is still a world where the strong eat the weak and he does kill from time to time, but it is rare. It is more about doing stuff in the cultivation world in modern times

 

Unless the MC is quite OP to pull his own weight, I doubt it'll be realistically possible.

Well, if you're okay with a modern setting, then the MC of Cultivation Chat Group doesn't engage in things like clan extermination or rape or any of the other usual crimes of cultivator MC's. Of course, most of the other characters don't either if they're not explicitly evil, so he's not exactly blazing a new trail or anything.

He still kind of has that "If I find it, its mine" kind of mentality, but the way they do it is still good.

 

The people in the novel have common sense. The sects works properly to fight against the evil sects. No unhealthy competition, the strong is protecting the weak instead. Kinda challenging the cliche cultivation novels. It's lighthearted and funny. And the MC is female.

Cultivation Chat Group is also a good one. Comedic and Shuhang has a good moral compass.
