Discussion The road to kingdom ending (no spoilers)

I just read the raws of Road to Kingdom. All I got to say is, that shit made me really upset.

For those who haven't read it, I highly recommend it. For those that already do read it, the ending will probably make you salty.

Besides that, does any else enjoy the novel?

I find it super ironic on how OP just clickbaits people to read here but insist to not put out the ending aka spoilers because he wants everyone to either read in MTL or wait until someone translates it.

580 should be the final chapter's number. and then there's an extra after that (ongoing)
there's also several extras/side stories in between current translated chapters (386) and the finale.

contrary to OP's salty feeling, i'm more of sad the novels ended. however i'm happy to find out the ending was better than most harem novels where author tends to make vague/open endings. or worse, neglect the harem build-up, and went for monos (i'm looking at you, Hundred). and definitely way better wrap-up than most xianxia novels i've read to the end

 

Lol I couldn't wait for tler and went to raw today on chp 419 now but i saw that latest chp was a post ending chp which was a Halloween special
Ps: hoping it just ends nicely with him as king and a child with Lucy

 

i like the ending tho.
i understand why you dont like it but every story has to come to end, and i think that one does pretty good at that.
and the post ending, what happened after hundred(s) of year etc completes that.
lets just say MC got a new mission for "life" after he got hit directly by enemy air unit^^

 

He lets his son kill him. Celia kills herself, and they both become Vampires.

 

I was just salty because the way it ended, not because it did. My boy was solo fighting armies and shit, but decides to let his scrub son kill him. It pissed me off even more because he felt he had to leave his family behind, when during the whole story, a vampire was tagging along with him. FUCK LUCY

By the way I really haven't read much but what happens to Lucy? Does she actually stay with Aegir after he becomes king and afterwards when he becomes a vampire? Does she tag along with him and Celia foreverafter? To resume, who stays with him after he is "killed", only Celia?

 

Wait! It ended??? I used to read this but didn't get to finish it. Last I recall is that MC went to a Dark Elf village A bit action in both meanings, resolves a conflict, and went home. which chap is this???
