Don't see how. While the typical aesthetics were a thick board that was either laid or put vertical, this isn't so bad that it would discourage me from buying it. I'm much more interested in their system, how their surveillance happens etc. Had much more issue with PS4 suddenly making playing online cost and with the surveillance from xbox one the form just proves that PC is superior #PCMasterRace

ah, corsair One, wasn't it. yeah, that one looks really cool (though ironically the temperature gets very hot inside ) but that probably had intel processor to blame. have you seen Velka 3? i'm itching to get one.
If you want that kind of look and much more "speed & power" might as well build one of those PC specifically Mini ITX Builds.
The PS4 and Xbox One are both PCs. They use custom x86 processors, custom PC GPUs, PC memory, PC storage, and have most of the physical ports that you'd find on most PCs. That Microsoft is using a chassis that appears to be in the shape of a PC case for their next-gen is a good thing as far as cooling is concerned. If they design it properly, you can get more performance and/or quieter fans compared to what you'd get if they put it in a traditional console chassis. To address OP's joke: Yes, Microsoft is planning on different versions of the next-gen Xbox. With PCs, there are many different pricepoints at which you can play a game with different graphical settings. If you only have a 1080p TV, there's not much to be gained by paying for an expensive console that can output at 4k. So, why not also sell a cheaper Xbox for people who don't need all the bells and whistles?
