Recommendations Harem Stories(Webnovels/RoyalRoad and etc)

Its been a decent amount of time since I have last posted a thread, but Ive been bored for awhile and have started to run out of material to read/cant find stories that fit my hard to please prefrences. I just want to know if some of you kind folk here on NUF have any good(What you would perceive to be good) Harem Novel recommendations, these do not need to be only on Novelupdates, but can be on Scribblehub, Kindle, Royalroadland etc.
No NTR when it comes to the MCs, but Tragedy,revenge stories,anti heroes and etc are all welcome Genre's/Tags.

I know alot of people dont like the Harem genre, so if you do not like it, please do not respond with something negative, there is no need for it. I read what I like, and Ill let you do the same without judging you (Too much ).

Ps.Mangas/Webtoons and etc are also welcome, but I would like it if they have a decent amount of chapters translated. Im wanting content that will be a somewhat lengthy read, but all recommendations are welcome. (No BL harems though, please and thank you

The reason that I personally can’t read harem is because it is not relatable to me in any way.

I’ve always dreamed of getting married and cherishing a person. Just one. So harem novels don’t fulfill a desire or fantasy that I have.

I don't like Harem novels because they usually ruin potentially beautiful stories. Secondly, in a novel, I never saw the main character and the heroines sit and talk properly - > "Girl, one girl can't satisfy me. How are you with polygamy? "

 

Indeed, I can see how that can be a put off from the genre, although I have read plenty of good stories revolving around harems and such. But I respect your opinion *Salutes*

 

Sure there are! You might want to list what you've already read though, so that I don't recommend something you've already dropped or read. These are some harem stories that I've enjoyed off the top of my head:
Mushoku Tensei
Death Mage
Oregairu
Bunny Girl Senpai
Queen's Hound
Everybody Loves Large Chest
Savage Divinity

 

Mushoku Tensei did exactly what u said about the 2nd part tho

 

Oregairu isnt harem, its a love triangle, and he finish only with 1 girl. Harem and love triangle arent the same

 

I have read All of the Above except Death Mage,and Everybody loves large chest really freaked me out.

I voted picky, but more realistically am between picky and hate. I have (and do, for some continuing novels) read a few harem stories I enjoy where it doesn't feel like they negatively impact the story.

The problem I have is that 95%+ of the time, it feels like they do negatively impact the story while either adding elements I actively hate (pure stereotype characters, harem "comedy" which is all the same, the trope of "every (opposite sex) instantly falls in love with MC", or a perverted MC) or at least adds little to nothing of value.

So while I will occasionally read a harem novel, unless it has an extremely high score the "harem" tag instantly kills all of my interest in a novel.

 

That's fair. Then I should also cross out Bunny Girls Senpai from the list. I just thought people would group stories of "MC being liked by multiple female characters" into harem.

 

I mean, Queen's hound have a dog MC with a girl into bestiality and Savage Divinity starts put with the MC being a slave... but I dunno how that freaks you out more that ELLC where the MC is a character straight out of tentacle hentai

 

I personally associate Harem with the MC being in romantic relationships with multiple women(Polygamy) at the same time.

I guess I can somewhat reluctantly say that The Experimental Log of the Crazy Lich is a good harem novel (the focus isn't on the harem but all the heroines are unique and likable)
I without any reluctance will approve of Bakarina
And I will doubtfully recommend the fake holy sword as the mc

is kinda forced into it by the evil sword but doesn't seem to love the heroines and is supposed to be a bad person in the first place so it's acceptable for him to not be loyal

 

The only harem novels that actually I liked are A Step into the Past and Mushoku Tensei. I don't care about harem in fantasy novel, I like those two novel because the story itself is good.

I don’t like read harems specifically because of two things:

1) no harem ending which results in singular romance
2) none of the harem members are paired up and just strung along/faithful to the mc after they pick one so what’s the point?

It just seems unrealistic and shallow to fight for a man or a woman that doesn’t care about you enough and entitled/egotistical. So I’m really picky. It has to wow me or have other elements to get me to read it.
