I know right. what's more, either she has a photo graphic memory and can name all the time and date of when flirty chats happened, or she got a folder set a side archived and name specifically for collecting the moments... what's with that?!? that's... that's not right... if she's be collecting those for years I say, you gotta sort your feeling out, gurl!

 

I’m kind of already set on not interfering All of them are a fair amount younger than me, and it feels kind of silly to step in with any capacity.

I think they’ll probably mature naturally as they grow... at least, I think.

Hmm, I think her current feelings are more of frustration, some of vindication. I honestly don’t know the detailed reasons of why they are friends.

There were mentions of her feeling worried about her guy friend, so I don’t really know what to make of that. She definitely hates the outsider girl like crazy though.

It depends on your definition of “flirty”. I guess NUF is a good reference point. People do lots of *hugging*, emojis, and other intimate behavior even though there may not be feelings involved. I believe my friend also sends the guy photos and asks for his opinion (e.g. what do you think of these shoes?)

With more information given it is likely that they are all at fault to some degree. They are only human after all, and still young, too. I think that the reason we are all seeing the attractive friend as more of a bad guy is because we have been given more information about her and so can point out her flaws, but with the other people we have to asssume the best case because of "innocent until proven guilty".

This makes it sound more like she was joking and less like she was actually considering doing it, which isn't too bad imo

1. Asking bout what someone thinks bout shoes dont sound like something that could be part of an “incriminating evidence” of someone being unfaithful...
2. If there was nothing going on, it is hard to have it be taken out of context, especially when it is a whole screenshot long instead of.. a sentence for example

My previous statement was based on the fact of what was written on OP bout how “flirty” all the chats were... if it was that “innocent”, it could never be incriminating nor taken out of context.

Getting mixed messages

 

Well, I was shown a ss of a chat conversation that ended with the guy saying “I love you” to my friend.

My reading of the chat was that it was said playfully (like: “I love ya bitches”) — but taken out of context it could look like something else.

There there are several of that kind of example.

 

I see, well.... maybe get them to start writing novels as a hobbie... nothing makes people grow faster than needing to make a whole new person, oh getting pregnant also work...

I have an acquaintance, she has been in a relationship with a married man for the last seven years, eight now.. no advice nor intervention could change that...

dont know if it's even an affair if everyone knows its happening. I bet the wife and kid knows too...

I think the only person that still think the married man will leave his wife, is my acquaintance... it's really sad. often I worry some one will get murdered over this...

 

If I were to write a mainstream romance drama story, I would use such scenario, the boyfriend/girlfriend comes back one day fainding their significant other and their opposite gender friend drunk and in bed together...
I don't like romance stories especially those where people don't know how to set limits

Its stupid that you can't hangout with your friend again simply just because they have a girlfriend/boyfriend

 

taken out of context you say... the friend might serve it out of context but as a human with the ability to think critically, the girlfriend could be able to put it in context again, which would be:
- they're friends and friends usually like or love each other and may express this verbally
- the friend doesn't like her and has a personal agenda concerning the boyfriend. May not be honest -> regard info with caution
Not sure if the gf is mature enough for that though from the stuff you said previously XD I just wanted to comment at this point that if the people in question are good enough at thinking critically, giving the benefit of doubt and asking for clarification from the right people, deceptions aren't very effective

 

Tough, tough. Being a mature person means putting aside your anger and getting things worked out properly. If she's getting personal attacks from the guy's girlfriend, she should be talking politely to him about it in the same way I suggested the girlfriend do. If he won't help, he's not worth her time or energy, so she can drop them both.
She should also be honest and reflect on whether her own actions are disgraceful too.

That said, all the parties involved are young things, so... Just put them on a boat and push them out to sea. Watch them sail into the sunset, knowing they can work their own stuff out once and for all, and you can have some peace and quiet~!
