XCL is the heir of basically the richest old money family. They couldn't touch him. So the job and blacklist, XCL can shelter LC on those. But the PTSD is kinda a different story. I still haven't finished because a particular ch was a big depression trigger for me (LC comes out clean that at that moment he has extreme depression to explain to XCL how he's actually doing) but AFAIK he keeps alluding to needing to go to psychotherapy after. I don't *think* this is a story where love cures PTSD (lol), but I haven't gotten to the end yet. After LC explains to him the depression bit, though, XCL kinda takes over with like an iron-fist leadership to keep him together while they're at a critical juncture. The rest that I'm aware of, he mostly just wants to learn how to be there and help LC. I don't know the details yet either, but LC made a choice in some I think hostage...? situation that led to the death of some rich family kids.
https://betwixtedbutterfly.com/translations/cpsy1 CPSY has taken over my life. The cases are incredibly interesting. First case is alr fully translated and it’s SO GOOD, PLS READ
Hello, I'm loving this book. Do you know where can I read the other chapters? It's said completed but there are only 37 chapters
That means the original novel is complete, in the original language, but the translation is still ongoing.
You can teeeechnically find the rest of the chapters here, but well, as you can see, it's in Chinese LOL The translation is ongoing, though, even with some scheduling issues due to various things.
Hello, I would like to ask what did Li chen do to be on the black list, it is not necessary for you to explain the whole arc to me, only the conclusion for the decision I make and if that affected him, like regret ... and things like that. I hope they understand me and give me a spoiler.
Spoiler Lin Chen was faced with the responsiblity of making the decision that killed several children of the rich families; he likened it to the Trolley problem in philosophy: do you allow a train to kill 1 promising person or 5 "useless" ones? He pretty much is extremely depressed as a result. Yes, partially by how he's disallowed from existing by the rich families afterwards, but it's also not an easy decision to make. I think to a degree multiple arcs are dealt the way that it's done in reaction to this event. It's essentially a core moral event in his life, and while I don't know if there is any excessive eureka-style moment where this comes through, it becomes pretty clear if you look at it from an overview?
Does the mc ever get off the blacklist? Or does that stupid huang ze keep pestering him? I just read a few chapters and that huang ze really did pass me off. What's his deal? Can someone please tell me what the mc's notorious past is?
How did you read this? Where? Is it the MTL? Cuz I can't find it anywhere else except at kinky translations
It's been a long time since I read the novel but I think the gist of it was roughly... Spoiler Lin Chen was involved in a situation where he had the option to save several kids in a trolley dilemma of sorts, and someone related to Huang Ze died, I believe. It's been years, though, so don't take my word for it. As someone quoted me above, I was MTLing from the original site, JJWXC.
