Not a fan of shonen, plots seem so brain dead. Preferably no harem or romance. Definitely no loli, I am too old for that shit. Thanks in advance. Cheers!
YES LOLI, NO TOUCH! LOLI IS LOVE! LOLI IS LIFE! Honestly i just can't remember anything except Overlord and Dungeon Defense right now.
Kuro no Maou is not even a Matured MC, well the story is Mature so I guess it is okay. How about the Mother of Learning and The Zombie Knight Saga which are probably you already heard about.
Well, you will probably not take this into consideration but I will recommend tokusatsu, specifically, 'Ougon Kishi GARO' and later series (Garo series is mature enough if you ask me, well, at least, it should be rated 18+ in my opinion, that stuff isn't for kids I say )
I watched Garo. 10 feet tall lady with giant boobs was hilarious haha I watched season 1 It's not free to read Not a fan of horror
the manga is. and im sure if you look through some aggregator websites you can find more of the novel.
For a Prosperous World For me, a mature story is a one that talks about consequences and how people learn to cope with the events that impact their lives. This book has both of these elements in spades and does a great job incorporating them into the life and times of the protagonist. There is a strong sense of gravity to the actions in the book and how effective subtle characterization be at creating tone and mood. It's a bit nuts that the author was just 18 years old when he wrote this.
I have read Mother of Learning as have most people given its popularity You can forgive me for thinking it's horror given that Zombie is in the name. I had a long discussion of why I dropped the novel. I didn't like the direction it was going. Many defended the novel but months later, I was mentioned in a post as being correct. The story is predictably frustrating for me. Unlike you, I can't read Chinese...
Sorry, I didn't realize that the translation has been stopped. Even so, the part that is translated is still pretty good. This is one of the few books out there where I will periodically go back and read passages from.
I added Dark Mage to my reading list. I would have sworn that there is a Chinese novel with the exact same name. Is there a comics for this novel?
Yes there is https://mangadex.org/title/206/dark-mage It's Korean WN though, if you want I can give you full 15 volumes of Dark Mage (raw)
Ignoring the dumb shonen flashbacks, the story is quite good but its not translated I am already at volume 5 of the manga, its a good story but sadly it ended at volume 6 It sort of gave me the idea of looking for comics of bankrupted companies to license for English translation haha
