I'm currently translating This is Obviously a Fraudulent Marriage. I have easy access to the first couple of chapters on Kakao but it won't let me access the others unless I have the app? Which is unavailable in my region? I really want to finish this project that I started so if anyone could point me in the right direction, you would be a huge help!
You gotta pay monies. Only the first handful of chapters are free generally. The rest are paywalled. Forcing you to get the app is just to hook you in.
Pretty sure you can download the kakao apk and make account through it. I just downloaded one I found online and installed it on my nox player android emulator on pc and made an account using that. Though I don't remember the tutorial I followed to make my account.... Maybe one of these? I do not play much with software but, try it on normal pc/laptop you should get the download working in an emulated version of a phone with a ip via some vpn hosts of that region or use vpn on smartphone but i doubt that would work the os that thing is so smart that an normal user have only little admin rights...
if u have a Mac, u can download blue stacks and then download the kakaopage apk file. it should download regardless of country/region.

Ah, iPhone. In that case, you'll be looking at a guide like this. It's a hassle since you need a billing address in the new region or create a new account (which somehow helps you bypass the billing address for the first time), then you'll need to change back to that region once in a while for any app updates. Highly suggest just emulating it via Nox etc or just not use iPhone/iPad for cross-country purposes.
It's impossible. Give up. If you want to recharge kakao account to buy chapters, you need a bank account FROM korea. If you wanna make a bank account in korea, you need a korean social security and many other factors. =) The best way is the find someone with an account and have them buy it for you. I tried.

You can access any novels on KakaoPage as long as it's not r15. You can't access the free chapters of the r15 novels either unless your account is verified with a Korean phone number.
