The survivors were gathered on the patrol cruiser Intrepid, guided through a stuffy hall filled with random pipes, crystals, and bulkheads. Surrounded by steel, many felt claustrophobic, at least at first. They arrived at a storage area, where they were assembed in rows, heads were counted, and pictures taken by some orb-like device. The leader of the rescue operation was a large wardrobe of a man, with a handlebar moustache and an oversized officer's hat. He stood on a podium, the blonde woman from earlier next to him. Mr Wynn, as he was referred to was sent to fix a problem with the lighting in one of the corners, incidentally close to the farmer girl and the idol, who were guided there by a man with a large bayonette adorned flintlock gun. Slinging the gun to his back, that man disappeared somewhere outside the area. The handlebar moustache man began his address:

"Salute, fellow imperial servants! After checking your insurance information, we will proceed to allow you to board the vessel in full. Make sure to keep to the allocated facilities only, as to not acquire sins that might not be within your means to repay. The canteen has prepared suitable meals for all laboureers. That aside, our crew welcomes you aboard!"

As you prepare for the inspection, a multitude of options appears before you:

    Rules:

    • All quests bellow are available as both group and solo prompts. Discuss between yourselves ingame as to what course of action to take, and tag me in an OOC commed to select a prompt.
    • Prompts are posted in this thread inside a spoiler tag, with a personal tag of me somewhere in an OOC comment.
    • After reading through your prompt, I may require some changes to approve it.
    • All quest rewards are hidden, and may change based on your actions.

    Available quests:

Suitable for people of artistic inclinations, and those with dangerous curiousity. You are in an unknown ship, after an unknown situation. You might need a way to get around the labyrinthine ship. Imperial cruisers are in fact known for being larger inside, than outside. Mapping them out and calculating the proportions properly, may increase your knowledge of the arcane manifold. There are two conditions to completing this.
    1. Create a map of the hallways and areas available to survivors. This can give you a general idea, but would be incomplete.
    2. Sneak into all areas somehow, either without getting noticed, or by other means. This will ensure the map is complete and provide the most information. It may become dangerous, however. Armories and engine rooms are particularly well guarded, and assuredly inaccessible to non-crew.

This prompt is somewhat special. The survivors and crew are extremely bored during a journey with no known destination. They need to keep both their bodies and emotions in shape. Anybody who could organise a sports event for these to mingle and enjoy themsleves would earn a hefty sum from betting.

    Create the tournament format, after deciding on a sport to run and any special rules that may apply. You can recruit your players inside the thread, but the tournament must be held privately {{ inside a PM}}

The winner will be rewarded something special by me.

The ship is a retrofitted gauntlet area. Managing to somehow pop on the top deck would provide a good place to train acrobatics. This quest is a group one and may be taken by any and all. The format would be a PM. Each participant then describes an obstacle that all will have to overcome. The winner is the one who overcomes all of the obstacles the fastest (earliest in postcount). There's a minimum word count of 350 for each post.

Some survivors are in fact not from the ship which got wrecked. Finding those and providing hush funds to the inspectors to allow them to stay will earn you a reward from the player themselves. The only reason this is a prompt is because it might unlock additional events, if written to my satisfaction. :3

The captain's daughter is a precious little thing which appears sinless at first, until you learn that she does no labour whatsoever. The captain holds no power that could possibly excuse such behavior. Learn the secret behind it by investigating the crew and circumstances around her. Not all is at is it seems. Make sure to add me to any format you use to write this out. Minimum number of players is 3.

To be able to take this prompt, your character must somehow navigate to the top deck regardless. Once you take it, you will notice a flying machine deliver a crate to the ship. Track the crate and discover the secrets of its cargo. Its destination is nowhere safe, however. You must avoid a fight at all costs, while also following at high speed.

NOTE: Necklace now in possession of @michael.kx5
The first to take this prompt receives a Silver Necklace. It is useless to them, but very useful to somebody else among you. This prompt is in fact played out in the thread. The winner is the one who obtains the necklace, except if the original holder, who only receives a reward if he picks the player who actually requires it. A hint to its function is the rose and cog insignia on the pendant. The necklace causes all that see it to desire it.

At the moment somebody picks this prompt, the ship goes dead in the water. The one who takes the prompt has the sole solution to the issue, but must hide that at all costs, while fixing it. This prompt is also played out in the thread. If anybody manages to expose them to the crew, they may take a smaller reward. Make sure you have something to exchange for others' silence before taking this up.

The bottom deck is filled with strange crewmen playing a gambling game with rats and bones. It is sinful to do so. Either destroy the gambling ring, or prevent its destruction. This is a team competition. Once somebody picks it up, three days must pass before it activates, and it will only be active if players are an even number.

Will unlock after other prompts are completed.

Will unlock after other prompts are completed.

Will unlock after other prompts are completed.

Will unlock after other prompts are completed.

Ali looked around the ship, raising an eyebrow at the larger insides and praised the designer a bit, maybe they do care about the crew.

Anyways she headed to her quarters and changed into her other outfit which had a more positive vibe to it. Of course she cleaned herself as much as possible before getting into the clean set.

"Now, what to do?" She asked herself and thought of something "perhaps that crazy lady is up to something? ( @Quaesitor ) or maybe the silent one? ( @Haxagen ) "

Ali guessed that she'd bump into one of them sooner or later.

Having eaten decently for the first time in two days, Amaryllis' complexion improved somewhat. As of now, she was hanging around the fringes, generally behaving like she should be there for something---which she wasn't.

The infirmary oneesan (@Kysil) seemed rather nice and somewhat naive, so she should be able to hang around the infirmary with less eyebrows raised, if needed, but that was an option she was saving for later. The good thing is, there was no shortage of cargo boxes scattered about the ship.

So now she wanted to know where she was at all times. True, the ship was small, but so was a forest until you were inside it. This was just a forest made of steel.

And so, Amaryllis decided to seek employment in the kitchen.

Leo watched from the doorway as the leader of the rescue operation addressed the survivors.
He observed each of them a bit while the mustached man talked.

After the assembly was finished, he turned to return to his room to resume his fitness training (he can't afford to get rusty) when he noticed something sparkling on the floor from the corner of his eye.
    "hmmm?"
Bending down to pick it up, he found a silver necklace with a rose and cog insignia.
"Did someone drop this? hmmmm...... who among the survivors could own something like this?"

    (OOC: @BB_Tensei ))

Regarding the lighting problem in the ship, Wynn was rather perplexed about it. He thought that there should not be any problem with the lightning's system. Nonetheless, there was an issue. There are some disfunctions regarding-- around the bulb, the inputs seemed to be poorly connected with the wires. As for why, it just seems to be... a bit outdated? Somehow. Perhaps, there was a problem in terms of compatibility?
Nothing hard to solve, he just needed to touch a bit the ends of the wires and the deed should be done-- only a few minutes are needed. Although, another problem may come soon if they do not replace the elements

After a dozen of minutes, Wynn wondered how the generator functionned, that should be more complicated as it is where the mana should be converted to electricity.
Suddenly hearing a noise, he frowned, from below, it seemed that someone was causing a ruckus. A sigh escaped his mouth as he wondered where shall he go to find a room to sleep in, to put his stuff down and such. He needed to check on his equipment to see whether everything was in a good state or not.

--nonetheless, he felt like checking the engine or such. To see whether there is something interesting to study. Now, he had just to find where the machine room is situated. Resting or engines? Now was a stupid question.
The latter, although, he would like to put his affairs down, it's always better to be prepared before "working' or do anything along these lines. Nodding to his own thoughts, he began to walk.

    Olejal was at a loss.
For years, he had done nothing but faithfully till the land, and the one other thing he did to occupy himself was to write, write and write.
Now that was gone, while didn't really feel pain or anything tangible- what he could feel, was a great emptiness inside, an itch he could not reach by any means.
For a day and a half he felt that itch broil inside is chest uncontrollably, but knowing in the end, there was nothing he could do...all he could do and did do, was to forbear, and live on.
Perhaps he could try writing again to fill that gap, but as he was he didn't have the materials nor the space to carry that out, he could only use something else to divert his attentions.
Thus, after was discharged from the med bays after a day and a half of treatment, he became an honoured janitor of the common areas.

After a full day of running around, the young girl could confidently say that she knew all the routes between the common areas fairly well. Thus left the areas that weren't---the areas that were restricted in terms of access.

The first time she tried sneaking in, things had very nearly gone wrong. Thanks to quick thinking she got out of it fine, but the 'looking for a toilet' was no longer a valid reason to use in the future.

Amary, you fucking dumbass. If I wasn't here to save you, who else would?

The girl nearly punched a crate, but decided to abstain as she had no desire to visit the infirmary.

Well, I gotta get in to those places somehow. Force isn't an option so that leaves us with trickery. But of what sort? Immobilize the guards without killing them, so no poison. It's too obvious. Something to cause a drop in awareness without requiring physical strength on the user's part...aha.

With a smile on her face, Amary visited the kitchens once more. It wasn't mealtime yet, so not everyone was around, but that was fine. She just needed a decent number of people to see it.

And so, the young girl got sent to the infirmary that afternoon with a bleeding knee.
