Well isn't the devilish will like his severing treasure? I think he will be fine as long as he doesn't abuse its power , befor the devilish will was consuming him , hence threatening his dao of freedom , now the devil is subdued and controlled.
Well the thing is... it was separated from him. Completely, during his severing. He stored it in his clone, but it wasn't really a part of him at all by that point. It's really weird to see that it's still in him now. I mean, his severing was pretty fantastic, and it's hard to believe that mist blade was just ineffective, especially when it was talked up so much. But whatever. Let's just see where it goes~
Well yes , the grand severing seems a bit pointless considering the devillish will is still there , tho i can't help but see it as an accessory xD , something he can wear or not or even throw it.
I think he fully severed it at the time of his severing. The problem is that his clone is connected to him, so sending all of the devilish will into the clone actually reconnected it to him once again. Then when he used it later in a pinch, that connection was strengthened. His reluctance to fully let it go after the severing is probably what caused this issue. I really hope this won't be a huge plot point though. I hated his bloodthirsty, murder everyone phase. He's so much more interesting of a character when being bashful and conning people. There's no getting spirit stones from the dead aside from whatever they happen to have on them.
