Question Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Anyone else experiencing a problem where updates from certain novels in your reading list don't show up on the homepage?
I first noticed it with second life ranker where I hadn't seen an update for a few days but when I went to the novel page all the new chapters were there and being updated in real time.

Then just now I suddenly remembered Boukensha ni Naritai existed and that I hadn't read it in a few months and when I'm thinking that it got dropped I go on the page to see that a bunch of new chapters are there up to the one that was released in November.

 

Did you try going a few pages back? Maybe you didn't notice because of that.

 

Maybe someone who submit the release put the release date way back rather than leaving it blank. Leaving it blank will put it on today’s date so after the mods had checked them, they will immediately appear on your homepage.

 

yeah, that happened to me once. I think that it's because of the time set in the website, I dunno.

You might have accidentally blocked the novels from showing up on the homepage due to homepage filtering, if you have done any of that at all.

 

This is most likely the case since I blocked all harem series from coming to my release homepage, despite me reading a few where the harem bit isnt a convenient excuse to kill the quality of the work....so i dont see any updates for harem from reading list on the release page.

This happens with me with mainly one novel that has mass releases. The translator all at once releases 6 or chapters a week but on one or two show up on my home page.

 

It would help if you made your reading list public. Anyway, if you have multiple reading lists only the main "reading" list will appear on the homepage.

It's also possible you didn't go far enough back. We get a few pages of releases per day.

 

You probably excluded yaoi/bl sh*ts in your settings .

Turns out I had release filtering on some tags and completely forgot.
Literally "Female protagonist" "Time travel" and "Ability steal" orz

 

Actually that only happens if you leave the default configuration, you can set it so more list appear in the homepage I myself made around 7 list and put 3 of them with the option to appear at homepage and it works fine
