Filtering the main by country (Japanese/Chinese/Korean, etc) would be a great addition alongside filtering by tags and genres. My main page is almost always full of Chinese releases that I'm 99.99% of the time not interested in and that keeps me from noticing the other releases and finding new series I might actually want to read.
