MC isn't arrogant but more like prideful and cheeky so there is a difference not to mention he actually does want to learn something or rather things

Also, even if you personally don't think he is arrogant, he is still not a good example to recommend to someone who specifically asks for non-arrogant

No, if you don't know what the meaning of the word is, don't say that they are the same, misusing words can give wrong impressions to others so don't do it, the two words while they may seem similar but are different otherwise why would they both exist, allow me to explain or rather let me give some references to the meaning of the two words so you don't say I am making things up:

Haha, yeah. This. As far as I know there's no reincarnation for Hiiro. He's not a reincarnated MC but a transported MC that runs for the hills after hearing what the kingdom that summoned him had to say. XD

He's also most certainly prideful, but not arrogant (excessive pride). He's also smart, but he does admit that he doesn't know everything and thus tries to learn whatever he can. It's not a "reincarnated MC" novel, but it probably fits in well otherwise since it is still an isekai, at the very least. *shrugs*

Mushoku Tensei - at the beginning the mc was a bit arrogant, but life beat him and made him see mt tai.
Paladin of the End - another rehabilitated looser that saw in his own new home that he was still weak and had lots to improve.

 

How about 'trash of the count family'
Though not isekai but classic transmigration into novel and into a person with bad reputation.
Not arrogant, doesn't have cheat-like power at least untill halfway through and even after having it without his group he would die very easily, no harem, no Romance.
Though he have some knowledge about what will happen but it's interesting.

where did this come from? OP didn't specify JP novels?

the links you gave all use the word 'pride' , not 'prideful' as you've described wordmaster's MC; prideful = excessive pride = arrogant

 

There's actually such a novel? Can you tell me it's name if you remember it?
