what can I say, I'm a (self proclaimed) between-the-lines reader (not really but) allergies... oops? also not much of a hairless cat person
Asking the real questions. We seem have to very young souls in our midst. I must say, they're quite brave before my presence. Their minds will soon rot in immense levels of depravity. Everyone always have their moral compasses twist and turn when I appear.
Things are so stressful nowadays! Back in my day there was only ONE count them ONE whole university that I could even go to...since it was the only one that was top tier and free and had my chosen degree. Good luck! About the various subjects: China studies - history and culture of China Translation - Chinese and another language translation (basically, two languages) Chinese language and literature - analysing and judging Chinese literature and writing (you need language for that but it's probably some form of literary criticism, IMO) There should have a course description somewhere online. Thus, no real choice for me.
can I bow before you, saviour! right now I think there are 6 universities in my country to choose from(even though I only know 3 of them) I read the syllabus for translation and found out that its chinese to english and vice versa. I can probably do cn to el but el to cn is probably not very good for me. also requires A for English and chinese so I don't think I can make it. language and literature sounds hard... I dropped english lit so I don't think I can do better for chinese lit lmao china studies sound pretty interesting. I'll have to figure out how science streams subject combinations work before I choose if I wanna take this subject
LOL, if you dropped English lit then you might not be cut out for CN lit. Good luck. Anyway, I don't wanna encourage this too much but... in fact, you can always shift to a different degree course if you find out that you are in the wrong one. It happens all the time. You lose a semester/year or so but it's doable.
