Request If You Could Control General Search Results For One Day, What Would You Do?

If I had that ability, I would make it so that everytime a student looked up any clue for some answers, they would only get links to a video where a certain 'kid' would tell them, "When will you learn, when will you learn, that your actions have consequences!"

You monster. That's a terrible thing to do. But in all seriousness, that's not the best idea. The internet exists to assist in the spread of information, and if a student is at the point where they cannot find the answer themselves, a clue or a walkthrough can be what they need. So in that way, your change would likely be impairing learning more than helping it.

I'd just change every result into links to Whitesnake songs.

I would redirect them to a payment method toward my bank account that said if you want the information then you have to pay, this has to be done so that humanity will have more respect towards knowledge and not become a lazy person.

I would make all search results lead to cat videos and cat pictures! Oh wait, it's already like that :/

 

So search results only video link?! For those who have metered connection this is a hell, it's similar when you open sites suddenly ads video pop up and when you close it, there's still a lot more, the bad thing is you can't turn off autoplay or the page will have problem loading

 

I would redirect all vegan food recipe searches to furry videos on autoplay

Will you get the actual results or some obviously bogus results?

OR legit results that are completely out of order (where the top result might be on page 1 or page 56346),
OR results that seem legit at first glance but are actually bogus,
OR results that all have legit names but the actual site isn't what the name said,
OR some personally recommended sites like nu and scribblehub mixed in with any of the above,
OR legit results but clicking on any link will randomly pick which link on the page you actually go to.
OR all the results have a random theme, like cats, rickroll, etc

And thus, people will learn the horror and majesty of RNGesus as they pray: "please, please let me get the results I actually want"
