Captive prince by C.S. Pacat is good but be warned that MC is a prince enslaved in the first book via trickery/backstabbing. It didn’t bother me, but it did bother others? MC’s technically bi, but ends up with a guy.

    Authors to read:

    *Jordan L Hawk
    *Jordan Castillo Price
-Whyborne and Griffin may not sound like what you asked for (MC is a linguist librarian), but I think you will enjoy it and realize why I recommended it after you read the series. While the MC is never exactly a spy, his adventures around the world are very similar.
    *Megan Derr
    *Sasha Miller

The last two authors run their own LGBTQ publishing company that has lots of books like you asked for. It is called ‘Less Than Three Press’.

Less Than Three Press closed recently, but you can still find their self-published books (of Megan Derr and Sasha Miller). Megan Derr also has a patreon.

There's also Lexi Ander as author (her Alpha Trine and Striker are sci-fis and my fave of that author).
The Mage and the Leathersmith (fantasy series, one of the novel is called Most Unusual Courtship, forgot which one among the 2 comes first)
    R. Cooper (author)
    Lotus Oakes (author)
Family of Lies: Sebastian Argent (fantasy novel)
Promise yet Unbroken (space cowboy but with dragons)
Mell Eight (author, i like their Oracle and Dragon Hoard series)
    Alex Whitehall (author)
All or Nothing by Macy Blake (series, urban fantasy and polyandry)
    Pelaam (author)
    K.L. Noone (author)
Angel Martinez (author and if you are into Greek Gods, she has a series with Hades for main character in one of them)
The Beauty's Brother by Leon Hart (Beauty and the Beast retelling from one of the servants point of view)
The Lightnight-struck Heart by TJ Klune (the classic goes-on-a-quest-to-save-the-princess but with a hilarious twist)
Warrior and Priest by Katie Howe (kind of sci-fi since it happens on a different planet and all?)
On Wings of Thunder (novels about angels and demons)
Dragonspire (sort of an isekai (?) genre (dude does travel to another world and all))
The Peacock Prince (novel with pirates)
Cardeno C. (author who mostly writes contemporary but has a few fantasy series (with vampire and werewolves and mates))
The Firebird's Tale (base on a fairytale but none of the most known ones)
    Amy Lane (author)
Cutie and the Beast (Beauty and the Beast re-telling)

If you want modern fantasy then check these authors
    Gabrielle Evans
    Joyee Flynn
    Charlie Richards
KJ Charles (well not so modern)
    Amber Kell
    Scarlett Hyacinth
    Stormy Glenn
    JL Langley
These aren't fantasy but are good reads (from Jaime Reese, Tempest O'Reilly)
