Yep, KR wn authors are contractually obligated to throw in a cliffhanger no more than every 3 chapters. Interesting that he took a day off to rest and relax. You do get the feel how he’s been itchy between his shoulder blades, on alert for his new acquaintances to stab him in the back. Let’s see if the author is gonna make the common mistake about silenced weapons. They’re NOT like how you see in the movies!
“I was trying to kill you, you b@stard!” Plot twist. This is good, author is pointing out that despite meticulous planning, Murphy’s Law is always in effect.
I like how there a sense that no matter how skilled, or careful you are, a zombie wave can overturn the table.
Things are looking grim. They’re most likely all going to die. Which I believe this author is courageous enough to do, kill off characters we’ve became sympathetic to.
This is the difference between a survivor and amateur. He thinks three dimensionally, they don’t. The people in the mall are going to die.
I love the realism...despite the horrors of being infected by zombies, they’re hesitating due to simple acrophobia. Which is realistic! This guy is superb. He thinks laterally and creatively. Sweeper: It’s lookin cool! Gremlin...oh oh...
The director is still alive. This is a KR novel. That scene with the sister was brutal. I’m not sure I agree with family taking care of zombie relatives.
David Brin. Despite the horrible, idiotic movie, the Postman is an often thought provoking and brilliant but flawed novel. After limited nuclear war, it was the predatory survivalists who were responsible for hindering the rebuilding of civilization. When men have no laws, they make their own. Yeah, I really do get the sense of trying to hold back a flood with your bare hands feel that the author obviously wants the reader to get. The MC has to try to impose civilization in a situation where only your reversion to the basest human instincts will keep you alive.
You do realize that all of the latest chapters remain unlocked for 3 days? As long as you're caught up you can continue reading for free.
Ah. However,I’ve also been losing interest. Too grim and gritty. I actually prefer MC,s with cheats...
It wasn't an easy decision to make, knowing how the community doesn't approve of paywalled content. I mean, we've went through what Qidian did with the novel community. Even so, it became tricky to deal with the situation. With e-book in production, along with Korean publishers and authors feeling comfortable with a paywall system.... Plus readers not liking the spirit stone currency and feeling like most webnovels are overpriced.... This is what happened. $2 a month (Around 6.67 cents per day) to unlock all chapters past 29. Latest chapters will still be available for readers who would like to read without paying. Although they would disappear after 3 days (maybe too short?) I think it's a fair balance of the two, but we would like some feedback. Ultimately, we would need to work on a new notification system to let people know when new chapters of Re:Survival comes out because NovelUpdates & r/NovelTranslations doesn't allow paywalled content to be posted. PS: We are still trying to figure out what scenes you would like to see illustrated within the first volume of Re:Survival.
