Aggressive self-promotion seems like a good way to go.

No child porn, no rape, no ntr, no yaoi [but yuri is still okay ;) ], no gore and more pure vanilla and you're good to go:blobpeek:

    Deviantart and pixiv for exposure.
Then use patreon or kofi/cofi for income. Paypal works too.

If you mean things like doujins then i got nothing.

WHy are you asking here tbh?
You will get better feedback with the masturbation experts at hentai/doujin sites.

They come from all walks of life from young to old, across different professions, all gathered because of one common cause:
    EROS.

You want decent money, you can't skip the legwork. Do the research. If you don't know already, find out what your target market likes and what's popular in your chosen bracket. Look to create your own niche or exploit one that has enough potential but lacks the supply. Find out what the going rates are for artists of your ability and use that as a guide.

Have a site or a page or a discord or a social media account people can contact you through. Look up what a mailing list is and how to create and grow one. Don't bother having a social media account dedicated to/for your work unless you're going to interact with your potential fans/grow your fanbase. Nobody pays attention to social media accounts that spam 'buy my stuff' posts unless they already wanted to in the first place. No shame on what you're doing, but I suggest you keep your ero-art creator alias/work separate from your real-life identity, unless you're 100% okay with any potential ramifications that might pop up.

Create teaser/free content consistently. You don't have to put it out often. Just consistently. It's a way to get your name out there and put your work in front of others. Look into running the occasional sale or special 'discount' if you're creating original works. Most people want their own custom art or popular character art. Be prepared for that. Create yourself your own rules/code surrounding art that you will or won't make and what you expect your payment schedule to be, including how you handle deposits and refunds. Research how to make a decent patreon that will entice people to want to join and think about how your tiers should operate and how much each one should cost. You can always alter it later as you need to.

Unless you're incredibly talented or lucky, money will not fall out of the sky to land in your lap. The difference between my artist friends who are making serious bank, those who are living well and those who crashed and burned was largely due to how much effort they put in. If your art is of decent quality, you have the right market and you promote it well, you'll sell. Last but not least, you have to satisfy a need. Nobody cares what you want. They only care what you can give them. Give them what they want and they'll give you what you want.

    Good luck to you.
