I am bored, so here’s a thread about the wonders of nature (warning: spiders)

There are quite a few interesting animals in Australia, some of them are pretty strong.
The emus, for example, came out victorious in the Great Emu War of 1932.
The platypus is one of the few poisonous mammals I know (rn the only one I can think of)

And now, the discovery that lead to this thread: Huntsman spiders and Hawk wasps.
Huntsmen are giant spiders preying on small birds and possums.
    Here’s an image:

One might wonder whether this miracle of nature is already at the top of the food chain or not.
    The answer? — No.
Here is an image of a Hawk wasp carrying a Huntsman to it’s feeding grounds (dinner table):

Anyway, hope you guys enjoy these images

That spider is not real, I refuse to believe that a treacherous monster like that can exist. This is fake

There are other things that that puts Australia way down on my to visit list. Like higher living costs more or less no big old architecture that is only in that region aka old culture as a tourist only for the beach swimming etc there are many other countries with much cheaper cost for the same service.

For example even in Canada there are regions where you need to use something sepcial like mosquito net for black flies.

There’s also a thing called spider season between May and August.
    That’s what it looks like:
