You might not be literate in their language. If not you might be captured then killed or interrogated as a spy.
if there's a war going on or there's tensions between a couple countries, it's possible, I suppose. But the same could be said of anyone. If it's a new language, nobody from Earth will know it. Best bet there is being a multi-linguist, that way you'll have a better chance of picking it up quicker. In such a situation (being interrogated), I would attempt to communicate that I had knowledge and skills that would be of benefit to them. Might help prolong my life in such an event.
Judging from what I know of witch hunts and such, I don't think they would need much of any reason to hang people as suspicious as a transmigrator.
I'd invent a sandwich...If disease, criminals, paranoid villagers, the church, accidents, dehydration, starvation, war, overwork, parasites, animals, offended nobles/royals, or monsters (if it's a magic world) doesn't kill me first.
