Don't know about New Zealand friend. We're actually really slack when it comes to biosecurity, which is why so much of our wildlife, flora and fauna is getting wiped out. At the moment we're officially unbothered by the virus and aren't restricting travelers to New Zealand. I'd put my money on Sweden, but only because I'm biased since I liked the vibe last time I was there.
Most news outlet are not trustable. Most often than not they will publish "news" without checking then since they are pressed to be quick and release as many eyecatching story as possible. It's kind of sad since once one news outlet publish the story, the other will also pulish the same news and citing the first as source. They might or not might follow up the truth later, but the damage is already done anyway.
