Kobe and his daughter Gigi died in a helicopter crash. Lebron just passed his scoring record last night. This is so surreal to me. I can’t believe the black mamba is gone. It’s even worse that he had to see Gigi die. I hope their in a better place right now.
RIP. Wonder why some of the YouTube titles say, "killed in--" like the pilot deliberately did it or something instead of just putting died.
the same reason most mass media make stuff (not the original word PGed it for the younger viewers) up to get views (oh tv calls it ratings but it's the same thing) so by the end of next week there will be like 1000 conspiracy theories on his passing just from all the coverage that isn't really coverage ...
it's weird cause i never knew much about Kobe but i've heard so many people yelling his name when throwing shit. It's strange to know that someone that seemed like a normal part of our perception is gone. I hope that he and his daughter are at least happy wherever they are
Wow, I never really cared for him but still respected him as someone with a talent I would never have. No lie, I legit thought you were making shit up.
He's still alive. I learned that from reading isekai. Him and his daugher reincarnated somewhere with cheat abilities.
He was one of the worlds greatest athletes and an inspiring individual. Rest in Peace, may you and your daughter forever find peace in the world beyond.
And that’s why this is so devastating, at least for me. Kobe was my favorite player. I’m only 25, so I didn’t get the chance to see Michael Jordan play in his prime. For me, Kobe was the greatest I’ve ever seen. He was a hero to many others besides me. We tend to deify our idols, especially our sports heroes. Kobe was special. Seeing someone who we looked up to in such a manner pass away so suddenly hits hard.
kobe made me love basketball so much as a kid born in 1994 we weren't old enough to see players like magic, mj or if we had we weren't mature enough to understand the game yet. But kobe was the guy we watched and learn from, like how he move to make a basket and all of that. He made so much people love the game of basketball and inspired a lot of people. I wish he is in a better place right now and give strength to his family to make through this ordeal.
Well I think it's because TMZ first had "killed in helicopter" as the title first, so they were copying the title of the TMZ article? I saw some tweets mentioning TMZ editing the title to remove the killed to something. TMZ was pretty fast getting the exclusive article out.
Same here... Then: < News about Kobe's death appeared in my local news network < International news networks reported about it too.
irony is magic johnson will probably outlive all the healthy basketball players. I still don't understand why Kobe got on that helicopter to begin with. Im not afraid of heights nor flying, but if im worth millions your damn right I ain't ever touch a heli at most it would be a luxury private plane and I would have it triple checked.
