I read those as speculation from the knight, but no one confirm it. That's why I am curious if it's true or not. If it's true, how little brother make tha knights quit? Is he secretly run a dating agency?
Actually I’m unsure how he got rid of them. I just know in that chapter in the manga from mangadex is that the younger brother seems guilty of getting rid the other knights of the MC.

Are you talking about the third chapter of the novel? Because it was the second or third chapter of the manga where it was implied that Alex had done that....... I do have to wonder how he first suspected that Alex was responsible for her previous escort knights leaving her. Since Alex confronting Klifford only seemed to serve to confirm the latter's suspicions rather than make him aware of the fact for the first time.
Has this red haired character shown up in the early chapters of the novel? Because I don't remember seeing him in the manga? Unless you mean this Rust guy but he hasn't actually made an appearance yet. That's why I heavily doubt he's the male lead especially if he hasn't shown up in the early chapters of the novel, either.

Tha That's either the same part or after the part of a chapter the current knight makes the remark about the previous knights being changed by her younger brother..... I checked and chapter 3.1 is after that part. It's actually in 2.3 that situation takes place.

In chapters 14-15 Octavia is just picking out her outfit with 2 maids and her escort knight's help. These 2 chapters are so boring. The only frisson interest was that Octavia on request of the knight to her fan's tassel around his sword-hilt? Or was it the other way around? Honestly, the dao of MTL is lost when you get off the horse long enough. Even now it's a massive struggle.. Please, someone! Anyone! Correct me!
