Do you know the term public baths? Simplifying it, I'll call it a place where people strip naked, shower then soak together nude. Now that you know what kind of thing a public bath is, how open are you towards bathing with other people? Spoiler: personal experience(s) For me, it was never really an issue. I went to a japanese hot spring when I was a child and was perfectly fine stripping to get a soak. however, my normal dressing may be more on the conservative side, and the furthest to skin I show is when I wear shorts. otherwise I stick with plain old t-shirts. I don't know if I'm conservative or open, but I don't find anything scandalous about a public bath. on the other hand: I went on an overseas trip with my school to japan, and the accommodations we stayed in mostly had public baths and private showers. it had to take much begging to get my friends to enter the public bath of the hotel with me. even so, they kept facing the foggy mirror when showering, and didnt dare to enter the bath. why? it felt so nice too... pretty sure there were queues for the private showers... don't know because I never knew where it was since I never went there the public bath was really empty and clean since no one really used it when my male friends asked if any girls used the public bath, they were shocked when I said yes, which is weird since they usually go around class talking about porn is it a problem of decency? am I shameless? why are japanese the only people fine with public baths? I doubt its influenced by anime since I was not a huge anime fan the first time I went to japan. why are there so few latest discussion threads today? is the wuhan virus getting to the internet? Myu is a pure hearted user who is only curious! nothing else intended for the dirty NUFers!
When I was in Japan, on a trip, I went to a very small public bath with two friends. The bath really only fit the three of us. I was a bit uncomfortable to do it, but the other two were fine with it, so I hid my discomfort. If anyone else had been there, I think I would have out and out refused.
The Japanese are fine with it because it's a part of their culture. They're desensitized to it. Meanwhile, it's a shock for other people because you haven't seen hundreds of other nekkid bodehs growing up. The shock is even more intense for introverts who never use public facilities. For me, at first I couldn't stop looking at other people's bobs and vagana tbh since I've never seen anyone elses's aside from my family. But eventually I began to give less care becuz bobs are vaganas are everywhere. It's nothing special. Edit: had to add this. A lot of european beaches are actually nude beaches so if you think public baths are wild. you should try a nude beach heh.
Go to a german spa/hot spring place and you will have lots of naked ppl there + mixed genders. It isn't just the Japanese and you that are shameless is what I am trying to say. I personally didn't visit the german one, but two friends did, and they were shocked that swimsuits were totally banned at the hot spring, even though there was only one option of mixed bath (both males and females in).
My grandparents built a large Japanese wood-fired bathtub in their farmhouse back home. I have always bathed there together with my brothers, cousins and parents when I was small so I never thought it was weird. It's just washing and then dipping into hot water. The only moment I was really questioned about that was when I went on a trip with some exchange students for a hot spring and they were all embarrassed about it while I was already putting my clothes into the locker. They were all Japanese descendants too but I guess they always lived in the city and never got to experience it before. So I just said: "It's all girls around here and there only some old ladies inside now, so I don't think anyone cares?". As long as you wash yourself properly first, don't have any open wounds, and don't have any tattoos uncovered (this varies from place to place). Also, keep your hair out of the water or wrap a towel around it if it's long. Don't dip the towel you used to clean yourself in the tub either.
You are the reason for guys dislike it, your type love spy other guys dicks. Hopely you don't visit manly places, because if you be caught, you will end being beating up.
I live to an age where my physical defects can no longer bring me shame, because I am too tired to deal with it.
stay away why look at other people's bodies though? real life bodies don't really look good... the one I went could fit more than 3 people with their legs stretched out I wouldn't dare to enter the mixed bath... girls got no ding dongs... but they got melons if you include tiny ones? that's true adult life sucks...
if i have a bath at home, i will never ever go to a public bath....simple bacause there isn't a need for it.....
I'm pretty sure some countries just don't have public baths. That's why it's 'an issue' in those countries. If you live in a country that does have it then it's no big deal.
manga tropes say that when the bath breaks, it's a perfect chance to show the mangaka's ecchi and censoring techniques and I believe public baths outside of hotels are not tourist destinations
