time to read the final arc ^^.
i had stopped to save up chapter and finish the "transcends heavely way arc" in one sitting.
hopes that the author does not disappoint me.
because the novel is funny and pure gold but sometimes we have very deep shit in it like the entire future soft feather timeline, that scene of current soft feather crying when the mc became heavenly way because of future soft feather influence, and the mc "peeking" the alternative timelines that shit was just a glimpse less than a chapter but holy who did not felt soft reading about the mc crippled in a wheel chair being taken up to the side of the bed where sixteen was suffering rebound of the tribulation in that "alternative timeline scene?", the author knows how to bring up emotions.

 

Don't worry, MC gains the ability to help those alternative timelines

 

So, here's a very rough summary of what happens after Song Shuhang becomes heavenly way.

• they deal with Fourth Heavenly Way with help from a technique with fifth heavenly way
• Song Shuhang transcends with the help of previous heavenly ways, which temporarily come out to deal with an attack to him
• Basically, Song Shuhang's debt of spirit stones acted as karma that tied Senior White to the realm.
• MC gets Blockhead Song and separates him from he Cheng Lin fragment and the Glazed Scholar, returning Blockhead Song to himself
• MC goes into the past to save the Clear Water Pavilion, and also resurrects them in the current timeline. He did this because Pavilion Lord Chu wanted a version of her that didn't go through tragedy. MC had the ability to change his timeline, or to save the Clear Water Pavilion and basically transport them into the future
• MC goes to alternate futures to help Future Soft Feather, and meets Scallion Lady, who's consciousness was inhabiting that Scallion Lady's body
• In that timeline, Fourth Heavenly Way stopped anyone from becoming Ninth Heavenly Way, and most of he Nine Provinces (1) Group died fighting him. Song Shuhang and Senior White defeat him and resurrect everyone
• In the main timeline, MC becomes the admin of the Nine Provinces (1) Group.
• Senior White transcends, but to a level higher than transcendence. MC decides to help the all of the Nine Provinces (1) Group to transcend eventually to reach Senior White in the future.

wrote a post on the chapter discussion on lnmtl.
it was a nice ending, the only downside for me was that the author did not gave a nice amount exposure to the entire "fixing karma" of each timeline-problems. for example :
we first heard about the entire future timeline years ago(literally, and how this more or less was a force pushing the plot along so it did not end the "same" as in that timeline) and how what happened there messed up with the mc and how it everything started in that "group tribulation" but the author just more or less skipped the entire turn of events of the future timeline saying "we fixed everything", where in clean pavilion he gave almost 2 chapter for example to fix it.
it would be nice to have the same treatment for everyone of the group; to know what happened to each and every one outside of : some died; some are crippled; some have heart demon growing for a millennium and the mc sweep them and fixed, yeah i agree that the mc is already strong enough and is impossible for us to have " journey" in it, but would be nice to hear the stories of how everything happened, i know this would be more or less depressing for a ending of a comedy novel but hey if the author can write about the massacre of clean water pavilion earlier on and show it in the "ending" to "fix it" with a little massacre of the mc with a spicy of comedy, why not explore the rest, this was something that i was waiting for.
Even more since it was stated until the ending that the mc have not truly become one and all yet because he still exist in all timelines, and this needs time for him to complete and this is the difference between him and white's level of transcendence at least one of the reason, so it would be the perfect opportunity to explore a few more chapters with the mc running between "timelines", exploring and fixing karma in each world and "assimilating " the mc of every world until there was only one and only.

 

There still plenty plot threads and unexeplained stuff hanging.

I wish author would explain them but he seems tired with the story and clearly rushed to end it.

 

Both Song Shuhang and White became ‘One and Only in Myriad Realms’. True to his title of’Song ONE (aka Song the First), Shuhang was the first to be the ‘One and Only in Myriad Realms’ in the history.

White’s ‘One and Only in Myriad Realms’ was the standard and typical version, as there is only one White in the multiverse.

Song Shuhang chose a different type of ‘One and Only in Myriad Realms’. The numerous Song Shuhang still exist in their respective timelines.

It is understandable why the author didn’t explore Song Shuhang solving karmas for the various Shuhangs, since it will be boring. Its due to Shuhang’s overwhelming OPness strength and abilities. Even the destruction on the entire universe was averted with a snap of his fingers.

 

Anyway, its clear that the author already burnt out. Rather than extending the novel indefinitely, its better to end it. Although the end isn’t like what we wanted.

 

So, who did he marry in the end?
Sixteen?

 

No marriage, but he and Sixteenth are pretty much officially dating. Ye Si contracted with both of them, Future Soft Feather may have hinted that she and Shuhang are married in her future and that she’ll only ever really fall in love with Shuhang so she’s rooting for her past self to get together with him, a certain somebody is shipping Scallion Lady with Shuhang, and Chu and White Dragon are just hanging around Shuhang as per usual. So one official girl while maintaining an ambiguous harem situation.

 

What actually happened to Shuhang in future soft feather's timeline?

 

He was in cultivation for a thousand years or so.

 

He became an ELB with the first Way he got and attempted to become HW, but the 4th HW hit him with the usurpation technique, so he spent that entire time resisting being taken over. The 9th HW was left unoccupied that entire time as a result. Our Shuhang then came and resolved that issue for him entirely, so he’s fine now.

 

Is the Ruism Holy man really amazingly dead?

 

As far as I know "Yes".
Did the author start a new book?

 

Can someone explain the connection between:

White ( 7th heavenly way ) and the current White. Are they reincarnation? Is the 7th heavenly way stole the counterpart’s leg a reason for venerable white constant falling?

Our White was an unexpected product of HW White’s time experiments. HW White created a zone where he reversed time, and it played out an alternate outcome of Big and Little White’s relationship where Big White (7th HW White/NSR White) died and Little White (our White) lived. Then he wandered out of that zone into the present realm.
