So I were reading the first few chapters of MGA but it suck. The MC kinda unlikeable and the the other characters is also bad. But I can forgive all that if the novel get better or at least have some decent training chapters(I like training chapters and I think that is the most easy things to improve). Currently the training in this novel is like MC get to training place, a few nonsense latter MC get power up. No describe how he training, just he succeed. But if that does not improve what did. Please give me hope, I like long novel very much and I am running out of options. (sorry about the bad English)
Nope, the story just becomes the same situatiom everytime with 1 or 2 outliers, sometimes not even that
MGA, like pretty much every novel ever, does not increase or decrease in quality as the story goes on. If you don't like a novel in the first 10 chapters, you're probably never going to like it. If you don't like it in the first hundred chapters, you sure as hell aren't.
Sorry but nope. It's one of those novels you can only really stomach if you just got into reading web novels and don't any better yet. I'd say it at least served as an introduction to many xianxia tropes and cliches but once you're familiar with those, it hardly has anything else to offer. If I remember correctly, the MC's power ups came from raiding tombs lol so there's not really much in the training department. If you're looking for novels with good training arcs, you should read I Eat Tomato books. I kinda regret not reading all of them back when I was less picky with what I read.
how can you improve perfection? don't even read it, after all MGA is a perfect waste of time half-something realms, now that is joke that i haven't heard in a long time
Well it gets good because now he is getting much stronger he will soon be a peak Exalted and he is in another getting up to no good as well
MGA stays at reasonably redable level for about 800 chapters. After that it just gets worse and worse. MC calling foul and acting all offended on certain imoral acts, saying how despicable it is when he himself has done the same before. Setting up absolute rules, only for them to be broken a few chapers later. Oh, and the stupidity of the characters is on another level. Usually on cultivation novels there's an unspoken truth that is "Stronger=Dumber", read some novels for a while and you'll also notice it, but MGA takes it to another level. As an example, there is time where Chu Feng (our MC) disguises himself as a member of a sect he has friendly relations with to hel them. Using the genius name of Feng Chu: Feng Chu fights like Chu Feng, Talks like Chu Feng. Acts like Chu Feng. Has the same powers as Chu Feng. Feng Chu does not use any of the Sect techniques. Feng Chu was never seen before in the sect. Despite that, not a single person in the entire sect, on all levels of authority, recognizes him. Not to mention that this was during a public visit of his, so everyone knew Chu Feng was visiting during that time. They even mention how Feng Chu is similar to Chu Feng, and yet, not a single person questioned his identity... And the cherry on top is that they were a sect focused on training the mind, so they should be one of the smart ones.
It's a chinese cultivation novel, the only way it goes is down. You will not like the rest if you can't stomach the first few, which was to be the hook of the line.
You can think of these as a few main rules about Chinese novels: Optimal range for the quality of CN novels are roughly 1.1k-1.6k chapters. Everything above it will mean a drop in quality (except maybe a few exceptions like Reverend Insanity or Renegade Immortal, but those have their own problems). The more chapters a novel has (above the number stated in rule 1), the worse and more repetitive it will get. MGA, Emperor Domination, Martial Peak and Dragon Marked War God will never end, so expecting quality from them is a good joke.
What others have said. I'm kinda interested to know how much nonsense it made up, there's like 3k chapters out now
The story is cyclical with plot lines being created and unresolved endlessly. Combine that with the MC somehow always being able to fight at a higher level than he's at and it just gets more and more frustrating over time. Once you start picking up on this there is no coming back.
If you like MC with strong backing and family, this novel is for you This novel is all about training, tournament, beat the arrogant young master, move on to a better continent, eventually to a better world, and eventually to another galaxy, MC still want to meet his mother, and he cannot right now because his mother's clan is too powerful. Personally i love this novel, i still reading it until now
