I checked the raws, and in the non-paywalled character description chapter towards the end

It seemed to say probably dead with no confirmation either way for all of them except the cleric/"holy" girl.

It said she survived, but injured and has not fully healed (looked like she has to use non-magic healing due to complication of magical overuse or even poisoning), and swore revenge on the Griffon.

 

Spoiler: Well...

Since she was courting healing intoxication, by casting healing spells on herself, when she ran out of candy...that's probably mostly her fault. She was also the one most bothered by having Roa on the team.

I mean she is going crazy about the candy, gets upset her maids could not find it, and never asked why she had never heard about it before. Since the candy would be extremely in demand by every noble lady if it was on the market. Seriously if she had even a lick of sense, she should have been all over finding out where it came from long before the booted Roa.

That and acting as if those without talents are lesser people, and not bothering to check and see if someone has any talents.

 

The country is to blame for that last part, very antiquated apprentice system is everything in that country, you can't show results unless you've been personally trained by someone in the same field, with results to back them, and if you train under someone incompetent, to the point that they can't acknowledge you without acknowledging their incompetence, then you are the talentless dropout.

 

Unfortunately, this system has a lot of very rich, heavily entrenched people who’d lose massively if the system was revised. In situations like that, barring a revolution, nothing will change.

 

Either that or the country gets taken over by another country can some changes be brought

 

so basically incapable of being strong and forever average....
it's no wonde he got kicked out from the party that's trying to kill the strongest bad guy...i mean like duh.

 

Not really, he is talented and could have grown so not incapable. But the party were all to self centered and sucked as teachers.

Unfortunately there is a reason no one will invade (the continents farming relies on a guild headquartered there), which is why the country got into the mess in the first place.

 

okay so you want to join the party that is going to kill the strongest and meanest bad guy in the world as a complete and total beginner, and then expect them to teach you the ropes?

in the first place, if theres a demon king,then he's going to be terrorizing the populace and killing people for lulz as much as he can.
so the hero party goal is supposed to stop him and save as many people as they can but yep, they gotta teach this noob that somehow got in their party.

That is exactly how an apprenticeship system, which they use, works.

Also where are you getting this "strongest and meanest bad guy" part from? They were not a party out on some world saving quest, but a normal sub-par adventurer party making a living off the backs of their "servant" beasts.
Plus Roa joined them 7 years before they got the hero title, and before the got the griffon or wolves who are the source of their strength and success since the rest of the party were all sub-par adventurers and even the guild knew it.

No demon king has been mentioned as being active or terrorizing people in the story.

And... nothing happened in the chapter. That had to be one of the least useful chapters I've seen in a novel. If you switch PoV you're at least supposed to give us something with info...

Ah I think he's also somewhat useless. He could have used some magic to repel the bugs or something but noooo let's to a barrel role on the ground lol.

 

Barrel roll implies you spun on purpose, this is a cat trying to catch the laser pointed at its body, and falling over, probably off a shelf or tv.
