Great... i need to go cut off my left nipple now. Also, how fucked up world is Isaac in for them to be hunted by Japs, China and Russia? Are they in WWII all over again? And if I recall the first few chapters, America is also in to eliminate Korea too right? What kind of crapsack world is that? Gods, the fact that Isaac can still reserve his bit of humanity to not kill off the "citizens" is impressive, to me once you are red, you red until dead.
“Remember. You just woke up the monster. The monster that possesses the Queen’s Artefact. Good luck. I wonder if you can even manage the aftermath.” Well I hope Isaac goes all out like Joker did. It will be fabulous. Also, more chapters please!
So they just woke up the demon king, and I presume that the teddy bear is the surveillance director, also the elves and the bears are gonna join the demon king soon
If I recall correctly, South Korea was on the breakthrough of some massive new technology. North Korea and Japan both invaded, America pulled out, China might've gotten involved, but I dont' recall Russia invading, and there were several coups / rebellions in South Korea, leading to one fighting the other. But what they really should have been considering . Isaac had that kind of things, while 'following the laws'. Now, that he's been betrayed by his superiors & allies, why would he follow them anymore? I mean, they might not really understand Earth's rules of war, but if they looked through his memories of the war, they would probably realize that there were several times he was breaking the rules because the situation deserved it, right ? Well, they've just created a way worse situation now.
Yeah they have always behaved like demons after all I wonder what the ending meant with monster horde.
It was very literal. This world has monsters in it and there's a massive horde of them attacking this noble's territory. Why is still unknown but the timing of the dialogue implies Isaac had a hand in it, though how he would have pulled such a thing off if he did do it, is also unknown as we don't know what all he did to his coat with the help of the queen's artefact.
Ok Author, bravo. That chapter was awesome. I didn't see that coming at all. Definitely explains why Kunette never wanted Isaac to see her human form. Hahaha they woke the monster, the fools.
Spoiler Chapter 18 shows him seeing her in her true form. Not even a spoiler I think Dam MC acted that fast?! Pretty crazy
Oh yeah I know that, I was more referring to the fact she's the bloody director. That's what I never saw coming. Part of Central? Sure, was 90% sure on that, but that high ranked? Nope total surprise.
That is where I am sad. So many Joker-stories these days, ever since TDK made such a strong impression. It makes some stuff easier to predict. But hey, nice twist to repurpose Kunette!
I meant anything roughly following the wonderful storyline of the character Joker from the movie The Dark Knight (2008). It is one of the zeitgeist of the last decade+ Like, now they are just milking it like they had milked the MCU and Star Wars and Mission Impossibru. Just last year you had Joker as a movie itself. The whole "society bullied this protagonist until protagonist had no choice but to become apathetic genocidal chaos generators" trope that is just beaten to shreds. But that is sad because, just like in MCU and Star Wars, spoilers are supremely damaging because you kinda already know what will happen and how it would happen if so, so the movies would be unwatchable once you had it spoilt. With MI, there isn't even a storyline---you can just look at the faces and know who's the villain. You watch them just for the action scenes and not for intellectual growth. I'm not saying that we shouldn't have lazy movies to watch just for the sheer fun of it, be it lazily made or smartly made but for lazy fun. But surely society can pay for some variety. This is also why we so much needed Parasite to win an award---they managed to talk about a totally different aspect of society, from a totally different perspective and even target audience, yet made it literally funny and enjoyable for all to watch. Maybe it wasn't as rewatchable as Pulp Fiction, but it has a depth that everybody can get something out of watching. Edit: Anyway, thanks for giving meow a soapbox.
Bang your head against the wall. Hard. Despite temptation, I’ve held off for a long time, to save up for a binge. I’ve been banging my head on the wall. OW!
