Lolicon and peadophile are different things. Paedophiles wants to have sexual relations with minors, while in my opinion lolicons are just apreciateing the beauty of lolis and their fun quircks
For me age is just a number, prison is just a room... But seriously though, a true pedophile doesn't depend on the age of their target but to their outward appearance instead. Even if she was below 18 if her outward appearance was adult like then your not really a pedophile, but if she looks like a child, and you find her attractive because she looks like a bona-fide child then yep, your a man of cultute.
That'd be the case if there's a 'sexual attraction'. Most 'lolicons' have an attraction towards the purity, warmth and innocence that comes from children, as they have attachment issues in real life. This does however entertwine when bottled up sexual feelings are directed to something that 'feels safe' and can resemble paedophilia. Except a Lolicon would never act maliciously towards a 'loli' or feel the same attraction towards 'a real human being' since they're not as idealized.

I'm not There's overlap, but there's overlap for all things. Some gamers are murders, that doesn't mean games make people murder. Just because some lolicons are secretly pedos, does not mean that all lolicons are pedos. Personally, I just think that lolis are extremely cute, but they are not my only, let alone my main attraction when it comes to 2d. Even hardcore lolicons like other body types as well, which is generally not something actual pedos feel. The entire point of a pedo is that they are primarily if not only attracted to prepubescent girls. Extra note, make sure we don't confuse pedo with child molester, not all child molesters are pedophiles, and not all pedophiles will ever touch kids or cp.
