Movie Avengers Endgame harsh reality

i lost the tweet, but someone posted the harsh reality of the Oscars.....apparently Avengers: Endgame has become the 2 billion dollar joke that dint win anything at the Oscars......

 

Well they've made the whole franchise a joke by the time they made captain America tbh.

 

Avengers Endgame is a thing?

 

Avengers end game is a commercial movie. They dont need to win the oscars to earn more money. Other movies win the oscar so that more people will watch and thus earn more money. Most probably the studio that made endgame didnnt come out money to canvas for oscar votes because they grossed 2 billion anyways. Let the chump change win.

to be honest, I don't know if oscar important or not~ why not be satisfied with the money? plus it's a good movie (to me, idk about others)

 

While avengers might have pleased ma y of the global audiences, I firmly believe that it was an understatement to what it could have been. And even though I detest the Oscars, I have to give them props for going against the public opinion. They couldn't do this for Black Panther.

 

Well, I stopped giving a fuck about oscars when I realized that they don't really represent public opinion.
Like, an amazing actor such as Leonardo Dicaprio went so many years without an oscar even while making amazing movies. Nobody believed him to be a bad actor just cause he didn't have any oscars. I realized that people just want stuff to get oscars because they believe it deserves a prize, but nobody is having their opinions be shaped by these awards. Regardless of getting awards, their beliefs in what is good and what is bad still stays the same.

 

End game was a disapointment. So not surprising

The previous avengers movie was MUCH better.

 

The movie was awesome but it wasn't overall great. Awesome for its hype and fan base. Not so great with the development and the ending was quite confusing or bland. I rather have Spider-Man: Far From Home an actual contestant for Oscars than Avengers: Endgame. It had nice development on Spider-Man's inner struggles over the loss of Iron Man. Also including the special effects.

 

Considering how corrupted the people are in this industry, do you truly believe that all the movies that win the oscars, truly win the oscars?

 

It cost a lot to get an Oscar. Campaigning, nominations, not bribes for the judges. It’s ridiculous how much it is now. So with it being so much about money, what does it really mean to win anymore? That you paid the most?

 

Endgame isn't Oscar bait. I love the hell out of the movie, but I didn't see it winning any Oscars. Nor do I need it to. At the litmus test of success it's well ahead of the curve; financially, critically and the sanctification of majority of its fanbase. If the Endgame is upset it didn't win an Oscar...well 2.8billion buys a lot of tissues.

 

watched the movie at the cinema 3D IMAX........yeah it's was realy good movie and an intersting experience........but i can say for certain it's not worth any oscar...the movie was more like an experimental product than a completed one.

the first half of the movie was like a soap opera...the second part was like elementary schoolers fighting, the only good thing was almost the final scene where there was war beetween thanos and avenger....but it's was like 1-2 min of the whole 3 hours movie....

 

The Oscars is a joke anyway. Rich people giving themselves pats on the back.

 

Oscar can be considered movie industry self masturbation.

It has nothing to do with public opinion or movie value to society.

 

Endgame is not the first movie to be commercially successful and being miles from an Oscar nor will it be the last.
And Oscars lost their credibility long time ago.

 

oscars is a joke, its not about who is the best anymore its about whose gonna put more money out to bribe the society
