It was supposed to be 100, so I must have spoofed the scale accidentally! DX

    Edit: Fixed now, hopefully.

As Fluxies require no nourishment in Flux rich areas they have alot of free time and have grown free spirited and curious. They play and explore many things in their surroundings and even befriend the creatures of the jungle. They became proficient at creating simple things with the numerous types of vines hanging from the tall trees of the jungle.

Wind Fluxies are born with great agility and flight ability, they are the most carefree of the bunch.
Earth Fluxies are blessed with strong physiques, but in exhange they became more timid than the rest.
Fire Fluxies are the most energetic, so much so that they actually warm up their surroundings and keep the cold away.
Water Fluxies tend to be calm and collected, with their ability to swim freely in water they are great swimmers.
Sun Fluxies make their surroundings feel refreshed, while their positive attitude brings joy to others.
Moon Fluxies bring peace to their surroundings, they are the most caring of all the Fluxies.

With their ever growing curiosity some of the Fluxies tried to leave their floating island in search for wonders of the world. But as they got farther and farther from the isle their strenght started dwindle and for the first time in their existense Fluxies felt the feeling of exhaustion. With the fear of the unknown sensation they hurried back only to exhaust themselves even more and one by one dropping down to the sea below.

Some of the Fluxies who stayed on the isle saw what happened to their friends and started to create a rescue party. Eventually with the help of the Wind & Water Fluxies the exhausted Fluxies were rescued. They told the others about what they saw and felt after leaving the isle. Eventually it was decided that leaving the isle is forbidden so that no Fluxies would be lost.

If a modern day scientist had the opportunity to examine and conduct research on the mountain-living tribe without the fear of being eaten, the results would have looked something like this.

Species: Not-Oni, Or Noni. Singular Entity: Non
The daily routine of most Noni is simple. Wake up, eat, brawl, hunt, eat, brawl some more, sleep. At the start they had limited success, what with crashing through the foliage in pursuit of wild animals and scaring away everything in a mile. Then they tried the stealth approach, though their inability to remain silent still alerted potential prey to their presence. So they gave up and went with the simplest way; outrunning the food. In the future, they would slowly learn to set crude but effective traps, but that's a story for later.

A Non is born without much distinguishable features, about the size of a human baby and three times creepier looking. As it eats, however, the Non grows up. A young Non consumes about half a doe every day, until they reach a certain age whereupon the consumption rate decreases to about that of the healthy human adult. Because youths spend much of their time brawling and crashing into each other at ramming speed, their bones usually grow sturdy and resilient by the time adulthood comes about---at the cost of a few brain cells. Most of the time, the brawnier a Non is, the less wise he/she is likely to be. Of course, there are exceptions.

Within the tribe there isn't much of a rigid command structure really, since Noni tend to be a stubborn bunch, they get into brawls easily and are less receptive towards talking things out. Most go out to catch things to eat; some take on the role of craftsmen and fashion makeshift items from the bones of animals they kill. Not very pretty, but they get the job done.

Report on the daily living habits of Noni by Dr Bochii.

We have been on this land for hundreds of years where the water is everpresent and harvest is abundant, but it is also where monsters roam. Monsters with huge claws, others with poisonous fangs. Night creatures with howls inspiring fear and growls signalling death.

Don't be scared, girls, we are safe, for our men have fought for us. Galantly, they took their scarred and beaten bodies out to the mountains. Uncowering, they fight the beasts lurking deep within the jungle. The pride of Glaria, they have kept this land peaceful and brought us glory.

Hurry along, girls, prepare your flowers and your baskets. Today, we will grandly welcome our Champion's return and see who he will chose as his beloved Flower.

As Fluxies aged their natural born gifts strenghtened and some of the wiser ones started experiment with handling the flow. A form of primitive type of magic was formed where they could use flow to manifest slight ammounts of their element.

Earth Fluxies could create a handful of soil, Water Fluxies could make small ammount of drinking water, wind from the Wind Fluxies felt like a gentle breeze, fire of the Fire Fluxies could bring warmth but couldn't burn the vibrant life around them, light of the Sun Fluxies gave miniscule ammounts of energy to those it shone upon while Moon Fluxies used their calming moonlight to fall asleep a bit faster.

Fluxies, though born of the Flow, live finite lives*. As some of the first generation of the Fluxies pass away, their bodies condense and turn into gem and crystal like shapes**. In the memory of their old friends and family the first generation of the Fluxies decided to pay their respects.

They found a clearing where the Sun and Moon where always visible. From Earth mixed with Water they build a primitive structure that looked like a multilayered mound with six pillars surrounding it. They purified the structure with Fire and gave it warmth. The gems and crystals were put on top of the mounds and pillars so that they could always feel the Wind. From henceforth this place became the burial site and the Temple of the Fluexie race.

*Lifespan is 250-500 depends of the strenght, will and their health.
**Weakest turn into gem stones and stronger ones become crystalised shapes of different things depending on how they lived. Those with great strenght turn into statues and retain their form.

Though the travelers from the east brought with them millet and its cultivation method, the region among hills they settled has quite a diverse amount of flora, both edible and not.

In general, the region is home to a variety of wild plants, such as the carpet creeper (A creeper plant that covers a large area with its leaves and flowers in order to have more surface to absorb the scarce sunlight that slips through the canopy of the forest. It produces small red-to-orange colored flowers depending on the variety, which become a lighter red-to-orange color small fruit. Those fruits are consumed by flightless birds that inhabit the forests.), the red dagger (A small plant with a central stem. It's root is a thick, red colored tap root where the plant stores nutrients. After a year and half period, the plant matures producing bundles of small flowers and dispersing its seeds through the wind.), the pebbleroot (a small plant that spreads through rhizomes. The plant does create flowers and seeds for secondary means of dispersion. Beneath the earth, they form bulbous 'pebbles' among their roots, which are where they store nutrients to be consumed by the your sprouts of the rhizome.), the feverseed (an herbaceous plant with a single thick stalk that has all of their leaves at the top, while the flowers and seeds grow in the stem of the plant), the green hands (a shrub that produces clusters of between four and five pods with soft seeds inside) and many other fruit bearing shrubs and wild vegetables.

In terms of animals, the region could be divided into two major groups. The animals who inhabited the densely forested areas at the flat lands around the rivers and the animals who inhabited the sparsely forested hills.

The forest were home to a great variety of animals, going from rodents, including rabbits, that thrived as scavengers or burrowers seeking for the roots of small plants, to small tree dwelling birds like the Windsong (a dark green colored bird, with light green coloration at the tip of the wings and tail) and the Wandersong (a close relative to the Windsong, but with a multicolored crest of feathers around its neck that it uses to attract mates), to the many Long Tail species (semi flightless and flightless birds that fill niches going from low bush herbivores, small insectivores and large tree leaves eaters) and the small River Foxes that serve as main predator for the smaller creatures. Aside from those, there are the Forest Boars, smaller relatives to their hill counterpart and with stronger members to scavenge for roots in the forest ground. Also the Tree Scavengers, a species of Ground Sloth that adapted to a mixed habitat between the forest floor scavenging for fruits in shrubs to tree climbers primarily feeding on insects and tree fruits.

The hills are inhabited mostly by wild rabbits, ungulates like Aurochs, Hill Boars (larger than their forest counterpart), and wild goats. Aside from those, three species of Ground Sloths (the Hill Scavengers, which adapted to a more quadruped locomotion, with short and strong legs and appearance much like an ungulate; the Hill Juggernaut, a giant megafauna creature that can reach up to four meters in length and lives primarily in the forested areas of the hills either alone or in pairs; and the Manned Juggernaut, the largest creature in the hills, reaching five to six meters in length and living primarily on the scarcely forested areas of the hills), some species of large monitor lizards around the coast and rivers and some scattered Long Tail species.

The main predators on those environments, respectively, are the Sun Harrier (a giant bird of prey, with a wingspan of three to four meters, that hunts smaller birds and even some medium Long Tails and Tree Scavengers) and the Terror Birds (a species of flightless birds that are between two to three meters in height and are active hunters in the hills).
Leaving aside the not that adherent to reality ecology, I've cobbled together a somewhat rough idea of what the language (or at least proto-language) the inhabitants of the region speak. Mostly limited to a one hundred-ish lexicon of words they'd need to use with more frequency (for example, words related to the environment they are in, or activities they'd be busy doing). It's still pretty much a rough draft for now, which is why all names in here are placeholder names (I'll get around to making native names later).
    Anyway, TEU off~

    Year 433

A humanoid creature arrives from a space-time rift in the middle of the isle. Wearing otherworldy attire dyed in colors that help the creature to somewhat blend into his surroundings. With brown hair and eyes, the creature could be mistaken as to possess the powers of earth flux, if it wasn't for the obvious lack of flux that could be sensed.

"Where did I end up this time?"

The Fluxies noticed the first ever other intelligent lifeform they've seen and curiously study the creature while beeing vary of the lack of Flux in its body. The creature has some resemblance to them but doesn't possess wings nor tatoos yet it bears a stature taller than the tallest of Fluxies. As the Fluxies study the creature, the creature studies them too.

'Some weird fairy looking things. I guess they are quite intelligent since they are obviously observing me. I can't really understand what they are saying. Well if they want to approach me then I don't mind but I won't start anything just incase.'

The creature started to take note of it's surroundings and started to study the flora and fauna arround it. Not only was the Fluxies interested in the new lifeform, the other creatures in the forest that live in harmony with them also wonder about this new being. After a while of studying it's surroundings the creature nears one of the big trees and starts climbing.

'Damn this thing is huge. Hopefully I'll be able to grasp my surroundings better when I get on top.'

After reaching the top the creature kept looking around for a while and then started sitting. One of the Wind Fluxies couldn't help it's curiousity and approached it.

'This one is one of the small ones... How should I go about this...?'

The Wind Fluxie kept flying around it while the creature observed her. Slowly the creature slightly raised and stretched its hand towards the little Wind Fluxie. For a moment neither of them moved and just kept looking at each other. Then the Wind Fluxie slowly flew on top of the hand and started sitting it while the other Fluxies held their breaths.

While looking at each other the Wind Fluxie smiled with a foolish grin that made the creature chuckle and smile as well. Then the creature pointed at itself and said "Dravde" and pointed at the little Wind Fluxie. After repeating again the little Wind Fluxie figured that the creature gave its name and is asking what her name was.

"Mel" answered the little Wind Fluxie. And so began the friendship between Dravde and Fluxies that would last for a long, long time.

(Incase nobody will post here anymore)

With the lead of the dimensional traveler Dravde, the Fluxie civilization prospered and grew strong. Eventually becoming a nation that took in all the races from Bareia and lived in harmony with those who were willing. In the end the Fluxies ruled all of Bareia.

One day the never changing Dravde told the current Fluxie rulers that he was leaving this world for another and that he may return but he knows not when. With their never ending curousity lead them to search for a way to travel to different lands that Dravde always talked about. So that one day they could meet their eternal friend once again.
