Hey, I'm searching for novels to read that have strong female MC, romance (doesn't have to be main focus), short (up to 400), complete, and generally and interesting story. Doesn't matter the time period. Preferably transmigration or reincarnation but not necessarily. As long as she's not a Mary Sue type of character and the ML is not the stalkerish type.
Does not fit completely fill the bill but you may want to check "Metaworld Chronicles" and "My Master Disconnected Yet Again". A couple stories with female MCs I could tolerate.

It's one of my favourite transmigration novel but if you don't like novels where the ML isn't in love with the MC from the start, then it's not for you. I remeber that I started reading that a while ago but then I stopped (Thr dreamer in the spring boudoir), I think I just didn't quite understand the presence of the ghost and what's her purpose, plus I didn't like the ML that much so I figured it wasn't worth it to keep reading. Can you maybe tell mw how does the ghost finally regain the her peace and if the ML is not a total douche? Cuz that's the inpression I was getting while reading...
oAo) I don't know but now I can see it! xD And we probably read almost the same novels on that genre...I don't think I have any good recs. I read The Aloof Prince Pampers His Wild First Rate Consort for awhile but the plot got too confusing for me!
the ghost at the end gain the peace, it doesn't appear so much in the novel. The ML is a douche, he lies and uses the ML often in the beginning, so I totally understand that most of the readers hate him. I like instead how he slowly (very slowly) changes from a man that sleeps around with his concubines to a man that grows to respect and love only the MC.
