Feeling empty after finishing reading all Er Gen's novels

    Any advices how to fill in this emptiness? And yeah, ISSTH, RI, POT, AWE read all of them, to avoid unnecessary questions.

    Why mention a novel that stop halfway.
    Also, you consider Er Gen's novels as trash, for newbies, what have you done with your life that allows you to criticise a professional writer?

    Honestly, you should avoid xianxia for now, you'll probably get tired of it after reading what? Thousands of cultivation chapters. Try something not related to cultivation, actually I recommend you to read some JP or KR novels. Trust me, diversify a little.

    Joy of life is finished on qidian.
    Ergen novels are good but not excellent.There is much better stuff out there.

    Read his books and compared them to others? You don't have to know how to fly a helicopter to know that if there's one in a tree then somethings not right.

    You don't need to be a professional writer to read a book and know that it's not very good.

    P.S. I haven't read Er Gen and don't have any opinion on him, just thought your argument was stupid.

    Rec - Paulo Coelho "Alchemist", Mario puzho " The Family" "The Godfather ",
    " Percy Jackson series". Many more just visit your nearest library or book store and check fiction column.

    If you could persevere finishing all of his works, then you could finish anything. I can only read up to 60-75% of his works because there will always be a long, boring war arc by the end of his novels.

    He maybe a professional writer but he is still mediocre at best.... I guess you are a newbie or you haven't read enough novels...
