Hello guys, I have started reading world of cultivation upon many recommendations and now I am on chapter 35. But man it's boring at least for me. Many people say it is one of the finest one but how. Can anyone tell after how many chapter it gets interesting???
After he left the island, the start is really boring, felt like the author testing the water so to speak...
It does get better but if you don't like it, just drop it. Just because it's recommended a lot doesn't mean it will fit your tastes. I don't think you should force yourself to get to a certain point in a story, it might end up ruining it for you. Personally, I loved even the start of that novel.
I took this novel on my Reading list. It seems to be interesting. But I wonder when I will have the time to start to read it.
Yes, the start is really slow/boring, kinda slice of life theme... but if you can endure it, definitely you won't regret it.
It's something I read back in early 2017, when Xianxia is still the schiznit. Long story short, I read too much repetitive Xianxia so I found WoC slow paced start as refreshing. It will pick up soon, but it might still not fit your taste. Body cultivation is just meh compared to the available novels now.
Having read WoC, the really interesting sides of the story is when he is no longer apart of the sect. He pretty much forges ahead on his own path, with fortuitous encounters. Not trying to spoil events but, here's a general timeline. Its a slow build, up to chapter 100-something and then goes into a jog in the middle. It makes a dash towards the end which is chapters 700-800-something, and the last 100 chapters or so is pretty much the epilogue. I mean if anyone else has read the whole thing and understood the story timeline different than me, I'd like to hear your perspective as well.
Did you finished reading it? Is it interesting? Im looking for recom. So i would appreciate your imput
