Question more novels disappeared from wuxiaworld?

Probably to help stop qi sponsored denial of service attacks.

 

It looks like TNE was completed exactly 1 month ago, so might just be a glitch as they move it to the VIP section

 

Ahhh, I just got to chapter 196 too

 

Do you think “Trash of the Count’s Family” will disappear too? I’m on chapter 169 and wanted to take it easy but seems like I might have to rush and finish it soon lol

 

not sure to be honest, still puzzled to what the heck happened! i browsed through the recent announcements but there are no news whatsoever regarding the novel, so i think what happened is either a glitch in the page since the novel was completed and moved to the other sections (completed novels) or stuff is happening we dont know about (problems with the original publisher or author etc) which i think is the most probable since the novel seemed to be thoroughly deleted from wuxiaworld
edit: even if the same happens you can read the cache from the page which is what im doing so no worries

 

Reminds me of what happened to I'm Sorry For Being Born in This World. I think that novel got licensed after its translation was complete (I don't know what process it went through so don't go asking me) and it promptly appeared on Amazon or something. Hold on let me find it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HFTYNDD there we go. Anyhow maybe novels are going through this phase as well? Maybe not, who knows.

That is from 2018, that was before they got licences for Second Coming of Avarice last year

Still not relevant. Emperor of Soloplay was taken down before that announcement was made.
This is a new thing that is why no one referenced that old announcement

From my understanding, WW's negotiations with Munpia and other relevant Korean publishers in Dec. 2018 did not go well. But they probably got an informal understanding between them to keep the novels on the site, while they were ongoing and being translated.
Relevant facts for this situation - First - All completed novels pre-2018 talks were removed some time after their completion.
Second - Somewhere in a launch announcement of SCOG on WW, someone, either Fudge or Ren, says it is their first 'officially licensed' Korean novel.

So in essence, if I am not wrong, every one of WW Korean novels from before those talks will be taken down some time after completion. That includes the likes of TCF and OG.

That was a different case. Ensj, the translator, worked very closely with the author on its ebook and self-published it on Amazon.
