What's the good original cultivation novel? I'm looking for cultivation novel written originally in English.
I think that Reaper of the Martial World is decent. It does follow many of the traditional Cultivation Novel Tropes, but does so ever so slightly differently than most Cultivation Novels, like having the MC's inability to traditionally cultivate (energy cultivation in this world) be a continuing factor, and not something the MC overcomes early on simply by receiving a cheat. Not saying that the MC doesn't get any cheats, he does, it's just that his cheat/s isn't an external item that immediately inverses his introductory weakness, nor some secret to the locals that makes said weakness an actual source of strength. No, the MC's weakpoint is an ongoing part of the story.
