I'm looking for a novel where the mc joins a sect that is sort-of easygoing, they don't really care about their appearance/dignity to other members of the sect and when a member does well, they feel very happy instead of envious/jealous which turns into plotting and scheming. One example is the splendid cloud sect, mc's sect, from Ascending, Do Not Disturb
if the MC can be the sect leader - instead of 'just' a member - read Master of Untold Daos and/or The Strongest Sect of All Times
Douluo Dalu series' Tang Sect, I guess. They are idealistic, promote their members, internal harmony, no internal scheming and all that good stuff. They do scheme/get schemed by external forces though.
