I tried looking for the chapters, couldn't find anything that worked except the webarchive thing. I think the problems are because they are moving sites (but that message is from about 6 months ago....) Here's the webarchive link to the TOC: https://web.archive.org/web/20180419161914/http://raisingthedead.ninja/current-j-z/shinka-no-mi/
I enjoy hunting for correct chapters as a sort of game so it's no problem, and you're welcome to ask again whenever.
Didn't see that coming, but I guess it makes sense, since Netherworld said that the gate was closed, keeping all the dead in.
anyone know what happened to chapters below 71? The links are all dead and the raisingthedead website doesn't have it....
Unclear. I think the second one waited until the safe mark to start translating it which provoked the original group to start posting again. Then I think they scared off the second group. It’s really unclear
Typically the rule/custom to picking up novels that are being translated is when there is 3 months of no translations. Without a single chapter within 3 months means, to this community, it has been dropped and is available for someone else to pick up and translate. In this case, 3 months passed and the title was up for grabs to be translated and the original translation group got really defensive about that. They were essentially saying "Mine! Keep your filthy hands off of it!" I am worried about that though, as 3 months passed without updates and the only reason we got an update was for them to claim the title was still theirs... That does not inspire a lot of confidence that we will get chapters any time soon. If they do not translate the series, except for every 3 months to claim it is still theirs, it basically means it has been dropped. At least that is what I see about this.
The rule on www.NovelUpdates.com is actually one month. The rule for making a pick up request thread in the forums is 3 months. So after one month of inactivity it is free game for anyone who wants their releases added to www.novelupdates.com
your first release only less than half of chapter and you not call it part one no? really it name chappy but it kinda irksome
Asian Hobbyist put out a teaser chapter, half an actual chapter I think, then rtd dropped the two chapters they'd been sitting on. They had their reasons, I'm sure, nobody is putting out harassing chapters, or hoarding series.
I only did a teaser because I expected them to be sitting on chapters and holding the novel hostage and I was proven correct. Besides, the point of a teaser is to tide you over before an actual chapter is released. I have to say that they have been effective. Cheers!
So, raising the dead translation group promised us three chapters in 9 days. Honestly when they did that I was surprised. I thought it was going to be another three months till someone else tries to translate it for them to get defensive. Problem: on the 19th of the March 2020 is when they promised 3 chapters in 9 days. First two were fulfilled. A second chapter came out on the 22nd. Now, where is the third? Going by their promise it should be out on the 25th, yet it is the 28th now. Hmmmm. If something happened and they cannot translate it I would have liked an update, but they have been losing my trust for a while now for the series. They only released the previous chapters before these two because someone else tried to translate it when they went MIA for three months. Me, as a reader, has lost trust in raising the dead translation group. As I just mentioned, it feels like they are just hoarding the series so no one else is allowed to translate it anymore. That is the main reason I distrust them. Don't get me wrong, I love their translation style. They translate amazingly and I love it, it just feels like they are unwilling to translate it unless forced to, to hold onto the series. Sorry if I sound rude, not trying to be. Just wanted to share my complaints and thoughts on the matter as any translation group that just goes MIA with no update before/after with inconsistent releases makes me wonder if they will ever return. That and I take promises quite seriously.
